Revology Cars Launches 1969 Boss 429 at 2025 LA Auto Show
Revology Cars has made a significant mark on the automotive world by unveiling its latest model, the 1969 Boss 429, at the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show. This re-engineered classic combines the timeless design of the original Mustang with cutting-edge performance and modern comfort features. The debut took place on November 21, 2025, in Los Angeles, California, showcasing Revology’s commitment to innovation in the specialty car market.
Founded by Tom Scarpello, Revology Cars is renowned for restoring and re-engineering 1960s Mustangs. Scarpello emphasized the uniqueness of the Boss 429, stating, “The Boss 429 is one of the rarest and most desirable muscle cars ever built. The Revology Boss 429 is not a copy of that iconic model, but a redefinition of it.” This redefinition incorporates modern technology, ensuring that the car is as reliable and enjoyable to drive as it is visually striking.
Modern Engineering Meets Classic Design
The Revology Boss 429 features an all-new steel body constructed with automated spot welding, seam-welded joints, and heat-cured structural adhesive. This meticulous assembly process results in a remarkably rigid structure that enhances ride quality and handling. Under the hood, the car boasts a supercharged and intercooled 710-horsepower Ford 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine, offering an exhilarating driving experience. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual transmission or a ten-speed automatic transmission, adding to the car’s versatility.
Performance is further enhanced by a double-wishbone front suspension paired with an aluminum subframe and a three-link rear suspension, which includes a torque arm and Panhard rod. The vehicle is equipped with hydraulic power rack-and-pinion steering and power four-wheel disc brakes, ensuring precise handling. Tuned springs and dampers contribute to a refined yet responsive ride.
Inside the Revology Boss 429, drivers and passengers will find a luxurious environment crafted with premium materials. The attention to detail extends throughout the cabin, reflecting the car’s impressive performance capabilities. The show car debuted in a vibrant shade known as Lava Orange, a color chosen by Yoshi Amano, Revology’s vice president of marketing, sales, and service. Amano, originally from Japan, noted that the color symbolizes courage, happiness, and good fortune in Japanese culture, perfectly representing Revology’s mission of revitalizing classic cars.
A Strong Market Response
Revology Cars has already demonstrated strong demand for the Boss 429. To date, the company has delivered 324 cars to clients across the United States and nineteen other countries. Impressively, 47 clients have purchased two or more Revology vehicles, highlighting a high level of customer loyalty. Current owners of Revology cars were given the opportunity to pre-order the Boss 429 before its public announcement, leading to more than half of next year’s production capacity of 50 units already being reserved.
The launch of the Boss 429 marks a new chapter for Revology Cars and signals a shift in the specialty car industry. By integrating advanced design, engineering, and manufacturing processes, Revology aims to create vehicles that not only meet but exceed current market standards. The Boss 429 stands as a testament to the brand’s dedication to blending vintage soul with modern luxury and performance, setting a new benchmark in the automotive realm.
