Yo-Chi, a beloved Australian dessert chain, has made its international debut by opening a new outlet in Singapore’s bustling Orchard Central. The grand opening took place on August 15, 2023, marking a significant milestone for the brand that specializes in frozen yogurt and acai bowls.
At Yo-Chi, patrons are invited to personalize their own yogurt cups and acai bowls at self-serve stations. The range of toppings available includes both classic Australian favorites, such as chocolate chip cookie dough and mini mochi, alongside local Singaporean options like coconut jelly and nata de coco. The unique blend of offerings is designed to cater to diverse tastes and preferences.
Yo-Chi emphasizes quality in its products. According to the company, its yogurt is crafted from real Australian milk, while the acai blend features organic and sustainably sourced acai berries. Some popular yogurt flavors include salted butterscotch, classic vanilla, and strawberry cream. The brand also plans to introduce seasonal flavors, such as mango, coconut, and matcha, enhancing the selection for customers throughout the year.
Modern Space and Customer Experience
The new outlet at Orchard Central not only serves delicious desserts but also provides a warm and inviting atmosphere. The design features a modern aesthetic with warm wood elements, creating a comfortable environment for customers to relax and enjoy their treats.
In a statement, Oliver Allis, co-owner and brand director of Yo-Chi, expressed the company’s commitment to quality, saying, “At Yo-Chi, we never take shortcuts with the quality of our product. Our yogurt is made from fresh milk and we always use organic, sustainably sourced acai. When you step into our space, expect good vibes, big smiles and fun campaigns that will keep you coming back.”
The Singapore outlet is strategically located at 181 Orchard Road, #01-06, making it easily accessible to both locals and tourists. With this expansion, Yo-Chi aims to introduce its popular Australian dessert culture to a broader audience while maintaining its focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
As the brand continues to grow, it promises to offer a unique blend of flavors and experiences, solidifying its position in Singapore’s vibrant food scene.
