Royal Group Celebrates Successful “Rise for Khmer” Concert in Paris
Royal Group proudly announced the success of the “Rise for Khmer, Stand for Peace” concert, which took place on December 2, 2025, at the prestigious Salle Pleyel in Paris. This event celebrated Cambodian culture, resilience, and unity, drawing attention to the importance of preserving Khmer identity and artistic expression.
The concert was attended by Her Excellency Phoeurng Sackona, the Minister of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia, whose presence highlighted the significance of cultural initiatives in fostering national pride. Royal Group has been a cornerstone of Cambodian society since its establishment in 1991 under the leadership of Chairman Neak Oknha Kith Meng. The organization emphasizes that its mission transcends business, focusing on meaningful and enduring contributions to the nation’s progress.
Embodying the Spirit of Cambodia
“Rise for Khmer, Stand for Peace” represents more than a musical performance; it embodies the Cambodian narrative of resilience and recovery. The event showcased the strength of a nation that has faced significant challenges and continues to rise with dignity and strength. A representative from Royal Group stated, “At Royal Group, we believe that unity, compassion, and peace are the foundations of a strong Cambodia. Our investments — spanning telecom, banking, and hospitality — impact millions of lives each day. Supporting Khmer arts, both locally and abroad, reflects our commitment to celebrating what makes us uniquely Cambodian.”
The concert served as a poignant reminder of community strength, particularly for those facing difficulties along the border. In his remarks about the event, Chairman Neak Oknha Kith Meng remarked, “No matter how long the night, the Khmer spirit always reaches for dawn. And when that dawn rises, we rebuild again — not just for ourselves, but for those who come after us. It is not about how high we rise; it is about how many we bring with.”
Collaboration and Support for Khmer Arts
The event was organized by the Khmer Artists Association, led by Lok Chumteav Neak Oknha Mao Chamnan, in collaboration with Baramey Productions and Sabay Events Productions. The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia provided support, further emphasizing the collaborative effort to promote Cambodian arts and culture.
As Royal Group continues to invest in various sectors, its commitment to cultural initiatives like the “Rise for Khmer” concert reflects a broader vision for a united and prosperous Cambodia. The success of this event marks a significant milestone in reinforcing the nation’s cultural identity and promoting peace through artistic expression.
