Oxford Instruments Unveils Imaris 11 to Enhance Research Efficiency
Oxford Instruments has officially launched Imaris 11, a new version of its acclaimed 3D/4D microscopy image visualisation and analysis software. Released on December 1, 2025, this updated software aims to significantly boost research productivity for scientists and researchers, particularly in the growing life science and biotechnology sectors in Southeast Asia.
Innovative Workflow System Enhances Usability
At the core of Imaris 11 is a novel Workflow system, designed to streamline the image analysis process. This system allows users to create, save, and share protocols directly within the software. By guiding users through each analytical step, Workflows make the software accessible to both newcomers and experienced researchers.
Importantly, these workflows can be exported and imported between datasets or among different users, fostering improved collaboration and reproducibility. By automating complex analyses while allowing for manual adjustments, Imaris 11 effectively reduces the time researchers spend on repetitive tasks, especially when dealing with large datasets.
Advanced Features for Enhanced Data Exploration
Imaris 11 introduces powerful tools that facilitate consistent visualisation and cross-dataset comparisons. These enhancements are particularly beneficial for multi-sample experiments, high-content imaging workflows, clinical research, and industrial research and development.
Anna Paszulewicz, Imaris Product Manager at Oxford Instruments, expressed her enthusiasm for the new software, stating, “Imaris 11 is a game-changer for researchers. By combining intuitive workflows with powerful automation and data exploration tools, we’re making advanced microscopy image analysis more accessible, efficient, and insightful for research communities across the world.”
The software is now available for download, and interested users can access a free trial through the Oxford Instruments website.
