The event, organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, highlighted the release of two books titled ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’. These volumes cover the fourth and fifth years of Modi’s second term and comprise 76 speeches and 12 episodes of his monthly radio address, Mann Ki Baat, for 2022-23, and 82 speeches and 9 episodes for 2023-24. Radhakrishnan emphasized that these compilations offer valuable insights into the Prime Minister’s contributions, vision, and aspirations for India.

“The Prime Minister has evolved from a representative of the common man to a true leader of the people,” Radhakrishnan stated, noting Modi’s determination to turn the impossible into possible, using the phrase “Namumkin ko Mumkin karna” to illustrate this point.

Key Themes and Initiatives

Radhakrishnan elaborated on the thematic sections of the speeches, which reflect Modi’s clarity of thought and commitment to inclusive governance. He pointed out that each address carries a message of persistence and public welfare, recalling a quote from Swami Vivekananda: “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached.”

Highlighting Modi’s initiatives, Radhakrishnan discussed programs aimed at revitalizing India’s cultural identity, such as Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, Kashi Tamil Sangamam, and Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas. He also mentioned the renaming of Delhi’s Rajpath to Kartavya Path as a significant step in this direction.

He described these efforts as foundational pillars for achieving a developed India by 2047, alongside the launch of Mera Yuva Bharat, which aims to inspire the nation’s youth.

Radhakrishnan also commended India’s presidency of the G20 and the historic inclusion of the African Union as a permanent member. He highlighted this move as a testament to Modi’s vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, which translates to “the world is one family.”

According to Radhakrishnan, PM Modi’s speeches capture a comprehensive overview of his leadership, ranging from shaping global agendas to driving transformative local initiatives such as Vocal for Local and Atmanirbhar Bharat. These programs aim to meet the Sustainable Development Goals and manifest tangible changes in people’s lives.

In discussing Modi’s impact on poverty alleviation, Radhakrishnan pointed out that initiatives like Jan Dhan Yojana, Aadhaar-Mobile linkage, and Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) have helped lift over 25 crore people out of extreme poverty over the past decade.

In conclusion, the Vice President’s remarks at the event not only celebrated PM Modi’s leadership but also presented a vision for India’s future, built on inclusivity and empowerment, as articulated through these significant speeches.
