Sachin Tendulkar Celebrates Daughter Sara’s New Pilates Studio

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has proudly announced that his daughter, Sara Tendulkar, has opened her own Pilates studio in Mumbai. This venture marks an important milestone as Sara embarks on her professional journey, showcasing her dedication and passion for health and fitness.

The announcement came shortly after Sara’s brother, Arjun Tendulkar, recently got engaged. In a heartfelt social media post, Sachin shared images from the studio’s opening ceremony, attended by family members, including his wife, Anjali Tendulkar, and his mother. Notably absent was Arjun, who could not attend due to his engagement commitments.

Sara’s New Venture and Family Pride

In his post, Sachin expressed the joy of witnessing his children pursue their passions, stating that he always hoped they would follow their dreams. Observing Sara’s commitment to establishing the Pilates studio has been a particularly joyous moment for the entire family. He emphasized that she built this journey through consistent effort and belief.

Sachin remarked that health and movement have always played a significant role in their family’s life. He stated, “Seeing Sara take that forward in her own way is truly special,” highlighting the family’s pride in her achievement.

Sara Tendulkar has a substantial following on social media, boasting over 8 million followers on Instagram. This makes her one of the most followed young personalities globally. In a previous interview with India Today, she shared her decision not to pursue cricket professionally, despite being the daughter of one of the sport’s most revered figures. Sara noted that while she enjoyed casual games of street cricket as a child, she believed that the sport was better suited for her brother.

In addition to her new studio, Sara has taken on a role as director at her father’s non-profit foundation. Academically, she holds a Master’s degree in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from University College London.

Arjun Tendulkar’s Engagement

Meanwhile, Arjun Tendulkar has made headlines with his recent engagement to Saaniya Chandok. The ceremony was a private affair, celebrating their commitment. Saaniya is the Designated Partner and Director of Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP and the granddaughter of noted businessman Ravi Ghai, chairman of the Graviss Group.

Arjun, who plays for Goa in domestic cricket and is part of the Mumbai Indians squad in the Indian Premier League (IPL), did not participate in any matches during the 2025 season under skipper Hardik Pandya. The Mumbai Indians reached the playoffs but were eliminated after a loss to the Punjab Kings in Qualifier 2 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
