This accolade recognizes her significant contributions to investor education through various media platforms. Heng received the award during the SIAS Investors’ Choice Awards, an event dedicated to celebrating exemplary practices and contributions within the financial sector.

Celebrating Excellence in Investor Education

This award marks the second time Heng has received this honour, having previously won it in 2023 for her work on the Money Talks podcast. The SIAS highlighted her “consistent outstanding commitment to investor education across radio, television, and podcasts.” The association noted that since 2023, she has successfully expanded her audience by making complex financial topics accessible to a wide range of listeners and viewers.

In their statement, SIAS praised her leadership in launching a daily finance radio show and engaging television presentations. They stated, “Your award-winning podcast demonstrates both versatility and impact.” This recognition underscores Heng’s dedication to providing clear and informative financial insights to the public.

Reacting to her achievement, Heng expressed her gratitude, stating, “It’s an honour to be recognised. With so much complexity in the financial world today, I’m glad that what we do at CNA to help people better understand it is making an impact.” Her passion for educating the public is evident in her role as a long-time host of Money Talks.

Contributions to Financial Literacy

In addition to her work on Money Talks, Heng co-hosts Open For Business, a daily morning radio show that focuses on business, markets, and finance, which was launched in March 2025. She is also the presenter of the weekly personal finance television programme, Money Mind. This diverse portfolio illustrates her commitment to enhancing financial literacy among the community.

SIAS concluded their remarks by stating, “Through your clear and thoughtful reporting, you have become a trusted voice in personal finance to our community of investors.” Heng’s ability to simplify intricate financial subjects has made her a vital resource for many seeking to navigate the financial landscape.

As the financial world continues to evolve, Andrea Heng’s efforts in investor education remain crucial in empowering individuals to make informed decisions. Her work not only highlights the importance of financial literacy but also serves as an inspiration for aspiring journalists in the field.
