Vaidam Health Partners with Vanuatu to Enhance Healthcare Access
Vaidam Health has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Health, Vanuatu, on November 6, 2025, to enhance access to healthcare for citizens of Vanuatu. This partnership aims to facilitate improved medical treatment options for patients seeking specialized care in India, reinforcing global healthcare collaboration.
The agreement enables Vanuatu residents to receive high-quality, affordable medical services across a network of India’s leading hospitals. This initiative emphasizes transparency and trust, ensuring that the entire patient journey—ranging from initial consultations to post-care support—is streamlined for a seamless experience.
Through this MoU, Vaidam Health will provide comprehensive services in various medical specialties, including cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics, organ transplantation, neurosurgery, and critical care. The collaboration will also cover logistical support such as visa and travel coordination, interpreter services, and dedicated patient care teams.
A senior official from the Ministry of Health, Vanuatu, remarked on the significance of this collaboration: “This partnership opens up access to better medical facilities and specialized care for our citizens who need advanced treatment options. By partnering with India’s healthcare ecosystem, we believe this initiative will help improve health outcomes and offer timely, reliable support to our patients.”
In line with this vision, Pankaj Chandana, Co-Founder of Vaidam Health, expressed his commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility. “We are honoured to work alongside the Ministry of Health, Vanuatu, in building a reliable and compassionate pathway for patients who require specialized treatment in India. Together, we aim to ensure clear processes, dependable support, and better health outcomes for those who need it most.”
The collaboration will focus on improving patient referral systems and onboarding designated medical facilitators. Both organizations plan to explore further cooperation in areas such as preventive health programs, medical knowledge exchange, and digital health support.
This MoU represents a significant step toward improving healthcare connectivity between India and Vanuatu. By facilitating timely access to advanced medical treatments, the partnership aims to enhance health outcomes for patients in Vanuatu.
