MEDIPEEL Launches Major Pop-Up in Thailand, Expanding Southeast Asia Presence
The professional derma-esthetic brand MEDIPEEL has initiated a significant expansion into Southeast Asia, highlighted by the opening of a large-scale pop-up at Central World in Bangkok. This retail and tourism hub serves as the first step in MEDIPEEL’s strategy to enhance its presence in key Asian markets. The pop-up, developed in partnership with Shinsegae Hyperground, is designed to showcase the brand’s clinical expertise and premium identity beyond standard sales promotions.
The Central World pop-up will be open until January 30, 2026, strategically timed to attract the high-traffic holiday season, which sees over 300,000 daily visitors. From December 27 to January 2, the pop-up will feature “MEDIPEEL Brand Week,” offering special product promotions, sampling events, and interactive customer experiences aimed at boosting brand loyalty and product trial.
In addition to this flagship location, MEDIPEEL has opened another pop-up at Siam Center, a trendy spot in Bangkok favored by younger consumers. This initiative, organized in collaboration with Tops Thailand, aims to build brand awareness prior to the official retail expansion in the region. Both pop-up locations embody MEDIPEEL’s sophisticated yet clinical aesthetic, with the Central World installation featuring dynamic visual transitions that reflect the festive atmosphere of Thailand.
As part of its broader strategy, MEDIPEEL is enhancing its omnichannel approach across Southeast Asia. The brand has established reliable offline distribution through Guardian Malaysia, the largest drugstore chain in the region. Concurrently, it is expanding its digital presence through localized social media, live commerce, and partnerships with influencers, aiming to deepen engagement with local consumers.
A representative from MEDIPEEL stated, “The Central World pop-up is more than an exhibition—it is a platform to demonstrate our technological expertise and professionalism as a leading K-derma brand on the global stage. Through our collaboration with Shinsegae Hyperground, we will strengthen our international distribution network and continue to grow as a premium derma brand built on trust and innovation.”
MEDIPEEL is the flagship brand of SKINIDEA, which operates under MDP Holdings, led by CEO Michael Chung. The brand is recognized for its innovative skincare products that incorporate premium ingredients and patented dermatological technology. Currently exporting to over 75 countries worldwide, SKINIDEA develops high-performance skincare solutions through extensive research and clinical trials, ensuring both immediate and long-lasting improvements tailored to various skin types.
With this expansion, MEDIPEEL is positioning itself to capture a significant share of the growing Southeast Asian skincare market, leveraging its established reputation and innovative product offerings.
