KIMS Hospitals and Emoha Launch Comprehensive Elder Care Initiative

On August 22, 2025, KIMS Hospitals in Thane and Emoha Eldercare announced a significant partnership aimed at enhancing elder care services in the region. This announcement coincided with World Senior Citizen Day and was celebrated with a gathering of approximately 200 senior citizens from Thane. The initiative includes the launch of specialized Elderly Care Services, designed to provide holistic support for seniors, addressing both their physical and emotional well-being.
The collaboration seeks to bridge the gap between hospital care and home support. Elders discharged from KIMS Hospitals will now have access to ongoing medical assistance and compassionate care in their homes, reducing the chances of relapse and readmission. Emoha’s trained caregivers and nursing teams will be responsible for delivering continuous support, which includes administering medications and monitoring vital signs, as well as assisting with daily health needs. This approach aims to facilitate a quicker recovery for seniors in the comfort of their own homes.
Comprehensive Care for Seniors
The emotional aspect of elder care is equally prioritized in this partnership. Through the Emoha App, seniors will stay connected with a vibrant community of peers across India. They can engage in online shows, interactive sessions, and curated events that promote joy, purpose, and companionship, enhancing their overall quality of life.
Saurabh Gupta, Regional COO of KIMS Hospitals, emphasized the significance of this initiative, stating, “With this launch, KIMS Hospitals, Thane, is proud to pioneer an integrated elder care program that goes beyond hospital walls. This initiative is a step toward ensuring that every elder in Thane receives the best-in-class medical attention along with personalized home-based care and emotional well-being support.”
The partnership aims to redefine elder care by offering a complete ecosystem that combines both physical care and emotional support under one trusted framework. Saumyajit Roy, CEO and Co-founder of Emoha Eldercare, remarked, “Caring for elders isn’t just about treating illness – it’s about ensuring they live with dignity, safety, and joy. With KIMS Hospitals, Thane, we are creating a complete ecosystem that combines physical care and emotional support.”
This initiative reflects a growing recognition of the importance of comprehensive elder care solutions that extend beyond traditional hospital settings. By focusing on the unique and often complex health needs of seniors, KIMS Hospitals and Emoha are taking a proactive approach to enhance the quality of life for the elderly in Thane, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and valued within their communities.
