The event, taking place in Tokyo from November 12 to 14, marks another year of participation for bedra Vietnam, highlighting its commitment to meeting the growing demand for high-performance materials in artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and precision manufacturing.

Visitors to booth 34-40 can explore bedra Vietnam’s latest innovations, which include a robust portfolio of advanced copper alloy solutions specifically designed for two critical applications: busbar systems in AI data centers and liquid cooling components for AI servers. These technologies address the increasing power demands and reliability standards essential for the evolving landscape of AI-driven data centers.

At the heart of bedra Vietnam’s display is a comprehensive busbar solution that serves as a vital component in AI data infrastructure. The busbar not only acts as a current conduit but also stabilizes systems by efficiently distributing power to all key components within a server. The company’s high-purity copper busbars are produced through dedicated manufacturing lines that minimize energy loss while offering exceptional corrosion resistance and weldability.

For compact power distribution cabinets, the busbars come with various cross-sectional designs and superior bending capabilities, optimizing space utilization in high-density layouts. Additionally, bedra Vietnam provides precision busbars that comply with specifications from the Open Compute Project, ensuring seamless integration with AI server architectures. These products are available in both coated (Ag/Sn) and uncoated variants to meet diverse operational requirements.

In response to the growing demand for busbar alloys, bedra Vietnam has launched a new production initiative in 2025, targeting an annual supply of 2,000 tons by 2026. To enhance its service network, the company is forming partnerships with local firms, including Alconix Nagoya and EBC Tokyo, to provide technical support and ensure a steady supply for industrial clients.

Additionally, bedra Vietnam is addressing the demanding thermal management challenges faced by AI servers and high-performance computing systems with its innovative liquid cooling plates. These components boast thermal conductivity exceeding 390 W/(m•K) and are manufactured with tightly controlled microstructures to support complex machining. The alloys possess ultra-low oxygen content, which eliminates leakage risks during high-temperature brazing, contributing to system stability.

The company’s Cu-Zr alloy exhibits outstanding resistance to high-temperature softening, with post-weld strength more than 30% greater than that of pure copper. This advancement enables the development of lighter, more compact cooling components, delivering reliable thermal performance for cutting-edge equipment.

As the flagship of bedra’s manufacturing and research and development operations in Asia, bedra Vietnam represents a strategic blend of German precision and Vietnamese agility. The company produces ultra-pure, high-strength copper alloys, including OFC, ETP, and CuCrZr, with copper purity reaching 99.99% and conductivity up to 101% IACS.
