MEDIPEEL Launches Major Pop-Up Experience in Bangkok, Expands Globally
South Korean skincare brand MEDIPEEL has initiated a significant expansion into Southeast Asia with the opening of a large-scale pop-up at Central World, a prominent retail and tourism hub in Bangkok. This launch, which took place on November 11, 2025, marks the brand’s commitment to enhancing its global presence and engaging with local consumers.
The pop-up, developed in collaboration with Shinsegae Hyperground, a platform focused on global expansion for K-brands, serves as an immersive showcase of MEDIPEEL’s clinical expertise and premium identity. While the installation is designed to promote brand awareness rather than traditional sales, it aims to attract over 300,000 daily visitors during the high-traffic holiday season.
Engaging Customers with Brand Experiences
Running until January 30, 2026, the pop-up includes a dedicated “MEDIPEEL Brand Week” from December 27 to January 2. This week will feature promotions on key products, sampling programs, and customer experience events aimed at fostering brand loyalty and encouraging consumers to try the products.
In addition to the Central World location, MEDIPEEL has also opened another pop-up at Siam Center, a trendy destination for younger consumers in Bangkok. This pre-launch activation, organized with Tops Thailand, is designed to build brand awareness prior to MEDIPEEL’s official retail expansion in the region.
Both pop-up installations embody MEDIPEEL’s sophisticated yet clinical aesthetic, with the Central World setup incorporating dynamic visual elements that reflect the festive spirit of Thailand. This approach is intended to elevate the customer experience beyond mere product display.
Strengthening Omnichannel Strategies
Beyond its physical presence, MEDIPEEL is enhancing its omnichannel strategy throughout Southeast Asia. The brand has established stable offline distribution channels through Guardian Malaysia, the largest drugstore chain in the region. Additionally, MEDIPEEL is expanding its digital footprint by leveraging localized social media, live commerce, and partnerships with influencers to deepen engagement with local consumers.
“The Central World pop-up is more than an exhibition—it is a platform to demonstrate our technological expertise and professionalism as a leading K-derma brand on the global stage,” said a MEDIPEEL representative.
This expansion is backed by SKINIDEA, the flagship brand of MDP Holdings, which operates under Morgan Stanley PE Asia. SKINIDEA is recognized for its innovative skincare products that combine premium ingredients with patented dermatological technology. With exports to over 75 countries, the company is committed to developing high-performance skincare solutions, supported by extensive research and clinical trials that ensure effective improvements for various skin types.
As MEDIPEEL continues to grow, its strategic focus on key Asian markets illustrates a robust plan to enhance brand presence and consumer engagement in the competitive skincare industry.
