Pan Pacific Hotels Group Expands with New Hanoi Serviced Suites
Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG) has announced the opening of the PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Hanoi, marking a significant addition to its portfolio in Southeast Asia. This new property is the third in Vietnam for PPHG, demonstrating the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in a region poised for robust growth.
The launch of the PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Hanoi aligns with Vietnam’s impressive economic performance, showcasing a GDP growth of 7.09% in 2024. The country welcomed 17.6 million international visitors last year, with a target of reaching 22 million in 2025. This influx of tourists and the increasing presence of multinational corporations highlight the rising demand for flexible accommodation options suitable for business and family travel.
Strategic Growth in Southeast Asia
PPHG’s expansion strategy is indicative of the vibrant travel and investment landscape in Southeast Asia. The region saw over 121 million international travellers in 2024, according to industry reports. The new property follows recent openings in Jakarta and Penang, contributing to a planned total of eight new locations across Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines over the next two years. Currently, PPHG operates 23 properties in Southeast Asia, reinforcing its strategic foothold in this dynamic market.
Mr. Choe Peng Sum, Chief Executive Officer of PPHG, highlighted the significance of Vietnam in the company’s regional strategy. “Southeast Asia is a key pillar in our regional strategy. Within the bloc, Vietnam offers immense potential due to its dynamic economy and growing international connectivity,” he stated. The PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Hanoi aims to cater to a wider range of travellers by providing premium long-stay options.
Enhancing Long-Stay Hospitality
The PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Hanoi features 126 suites designed for long-term stays, each equipped with residential-style interiors and kitchenettes. These accommodations cater to business executives, relocating families, and extended-stay guests seeking comfort and convenience. The property offers a variety of suite configurations, including one, two, and three-bedroom options, all designed with modern comforts in mind.
Guests can enjoy amenities such as an all-season indoor swimming pool, fitness facilities, and versatile meeting spaces. Dining options include Cilantro, a bistro offering a mix of global and local cuisine, as well as the Garden Café, which provides a serene open-air environment.
PPHG’s launch of the PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Hanoi represents a key milestone in its Version 2.0 strategy, designed to adapt to changing traveller preferences. This strategic plan emphasizes long-stay segments, which have seen sustained growth as more business travellers and families seek flexibility in their accommodations.
Mr. Choe further noted, “We are responding to the evolving demands with thoughtful design, our signature hospitality, and a focus on sustainability.” The new property aims to set benchmarks in long-stay hospitality by integrating smart technology and creating spaces that foster community.
According to a report by Grand View Research, the serviced apartment market in the Asia-Pacific region is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 14.4% from 2025 to 2030, with revenues projected to reach USD 57.9 billion by 2030. PPHG is well-positioned to meet this demand, combining the comforts of home with elevated hotel services.
With the launch of PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Hanoi, PPHG is not only enhancing its offerings in Vietnam but is also committed to shaping the future of long-stay hospitality. As the market evolves, PPHG continues to innovate, ensuring that its accommodations reflect the needs and lifestyles of today’s global travellers.
