ASUS Dominates PCMag Awards with Unprecedented Router Wins

ASUS has achieved a significant milestone in the technology sector by sweeping the PCMag 2025 Readers’ Choice awards. The company’s home networking devices secured first place in three key categories: Best Overall Home Wi-Fi Routers, Best Standalone Home Wi-Fi Routers, and Best Wi-Fi Mesh Network Systems. This marks the first time a single company has earned all three awards in the same year.
In addition to the Readers’ Choice accolades, ASUS networking devices also triumphed in the PCMag Business Choice 2025 awards. The company won in the categories of Routers for Home Offices and Wi-Fi Mesh Network Systems for Home Offices. This achievement highlights ASUS’s dominance in addressing diverse networking needs—from standalone routers to comprehensive mesh systems.
Recognition and Customer Satisfaction
ASUS has now claimed the title of Best Overall Home Wi-Fi Routers for thirteen years, while also achieving recognition for Wi-Fi Mesh Network Systems for the second consecutive year and for Routers for Home Offices for the eighth time. These accolades underscore the company’s commitment to innovation and reliability in the networking space.
According to PCMag’s satisfaction survey, ASUS performed exceptionally well, scoring 9.4 out of 10 for overall satisfaction. The survey indicated that the company led in areas such as reliability, mesh coverage, network management, and likelihood to recommend. Home office users particularly appreciated the streamlined Virtual Private Network (VPN) setup, with one respondent stating, “It’s really easy to set up a VPN connection on the router for full coverage of all devices.”
ASUS’s AiMesh technology enhances user experience by allowing any compatible ASUS router—such as the ROG gaming routers—to seamlessly integrate into a user’s network. This technology unlocks advanced features like WiFi 7 Multi-Link Operation and Smart Home Master, providing users with high-performance coverage.
Innovative Products and Future Goals
The recognition received by ASUS extends to its product lines, with the ZenWiFi series being highlighted for its outstanding performance. PCMag reported that “ASUS’s ZenWiFi line wins easily, notably jumping from 9.0 to 9.4 year-over-year for overall satisfaction.” The Asus ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro was particularly noted for its impressive throughput speed.
Additionally, the ROG Rapture GT6 was recognized as “one of the few mesh systems designed specifically for gaming,” and it received the Editors’ Choice award. These accolades reflect ASUS’s dedication to delivering cutting-edge technology that meets the evolving demands of consumers and businesses alike.
