iQIYI and Vision+ Launch “Combo Asia” for Indonesian Viewers
iQIYI International has announced a significant partnership with Vision+, Indonesia’s leading OTT platform, to launch the “Combo Asia” joint membership service. This collaboration aims to create a comprehensive entertainment ecosystem that integrates iQIYI’s premium Asian content with Vision+’s extensive sports offerings, providing Indonesian viewers with a diverse range of entertainment options.
The official launch took place on December 1, 2025, in Singapore, drawing considerable attention from the media and industry stakeholders. The event featured iQIYI International Global Ambassador Esther Yu, who highlighted the importance of this new service. The “Combo Asia” package combines the benefits of iQIYI VIP Standard and Vision+ Premium Sports, allowing users to enjoy an array of C-dramas, live sports events, movies, variety shows, and anime all in one place.
Dinesh Ratnam, Senior Managing Director for iQIYI in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, emphasized the necessity of partnerships in meeting the evolving demands of digital entertainment. He stated, “The launch of ‘Combo Asia’ perfectly blends Vision+’s strengths in sports and local content with iQIYI’s popular Chinese and Asian entertainment, providing Indonesian viewers with a comprehensive and affordable entertainment solution.” This initiative responds directly to the increasing popularity of Chinese dramas and micro-dramas in the Indonesian market, with plans for further content investment through the “iQIYI Starship Project.”
Enhanced Viewing Experience and Community Engagement
The “Combo Asia” service will be available on both the iQIYI App and Vision+ App, featuring promotional offers in collaboration with platforms such as Telkomsel, Tokopedia, and GoPay. Clarissa Tanoesoedibjo, Deputy CEO of Vision+, expressed excitement about the synergy between the two platforms. She noted that the integration of exclusive sports resources, such as the AFC and Bundesliga, with iQIYI’s world-class entertainment content greatly enriches the viewing choices available to users.
The launch event also included a special appearance by Esther Yu, who introduced her upcoming drama “Speed and Love” to the Indonesian audience. Alongside Li Kaichen, Vice President of APAC & Middle East at iQIYI International, Tanoesoedibjo presented a commemorative gift, symbolizing the commitment to deepen cooperation between the two companies. The event culminated in a group photo with senior executives, illustrating their shared vision for the future.
Following the launch, the “iQIYI Starship Project” organized a fan meeting that featured interactive sessions with Esther Yu. She engaged with fans by learning Bahasa Indonesia, sampling local cuisine, and participating in popular TikTok-style video recreations. These activities fostered a vibrant atmosphere and showcased the project’s dedication to enhancing cultural exchanges between artists and international audiences.
Future Collaborations and Market Expansion
Looking ahead, iQIYI and Vision+ plan to deepen their collaboration across various areas, including content, marketing, and product development. The goal is to provide users with a smooth integrated viewing experience while creating more effective advertising opportunities. Both parties are also exploring further possibilities in localized content production and commercial collaboration to solidify iQIYI International’s brand presence in Indonesia.
As the partnership unfolds, the “Combo Asia” initiative is set to redefine the streaming landscape in Indonesia, offering a rich combination of entertainment that caters to diverse audience preferences. The collaboration not only highlights the importance of regional partnerships but also underscores a commitment to delivering high-quality content to viewers across the region.
