Hangzhou, China, Oct. 27 (CNA) Taiwan's table tennis duo Lin Tzu-yu (林姿妤) and Tian Shiau-wen (田曉雯) bagged a silver medal in the women's doubles class WD20 final on Friday at the Asian Paralympic Games in Hangzhou, China.

The duo faced China's Xiong Guiyan (熊桂艷) and Zhao Xiaojing (趙小靜) and had multiple chances to win the match in the fourth game, but failed to capitalize, eventually losing 11-4, 6-11, 11-9, 13-15, 9-11.

Facing their Chinese opponents for the second time, the duo told reporters they did better than their previous meeting at the Tokyo Paralympics, but there is still room for improvement.

Tian said she played too conservatively in the fourth game, which allowed their opponents to get back into the game.

Disagreeing, Lin said: "It's a matter of both players when playing doubles. Even if she made a mistake, it might be caused by a previous one I made."

Having been double partners for years, the duo share a tight bond, and both said they like having a partner to play with.

In the women's singles class 10 final which took place on Oct. 25, Lin beat Tian, winning the gold and silver medal, respectively.
