Maison&Objet Returns to Hong Kong with Exciting 2025 Program

Maison&Objet Intérieurs Hong Kong will host its 2025 edition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from December 3 to 6, 2025. The event features three main sections—Design Factory, Design Showcase, and Le Club—under the overarching theme of “Crossroads.” This year’s focus aims to highlight Asian design, foster collaboration, and explore business opportunities within the region.
The exhibition will present over 200 brands and makers, along with eight immersive interior displays from seven design capitals. Access to the fair is complimentary for pre-registered professionals, while the general public can enter on December 6.
Exploring the Core Sections
The Design Factory will showcase four pavilions dedicated to sustainability, material innovation, and cultural dialogue. These include “Shifted Mirrors: Fragments of a Dreamed East,” “Anthropocene Adhocsime,” “Breath of Bamboo,” and “Living Matters.” Each pavilion promises an engaging experience, reflecting the latest trends and innovations in design.
The Design Showcase will feature eight reimagined interiors that blend hybrid living and hospitality concepts. Notable contributors include designers from various cities: Hubert Le Gall in collaboration with Alfred Lam from Paris and Hong Kong, Kristina Zanic from Dubai, Aparna Kaushik from New Delhi, Steve Leung from Hong Kong, Wu Bin from Shanghai, and Teo Yang from Seoul. This diverse representation emphasizes the event’s commitment to global perspectives in design.
Le Club, a dedicated business lounge designed by CL3 and Lim + Lu, will feature 24 brand displays. It aims to connect design professionals with potential opportunities in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, enhancing networking and collaboration within the industry.
Special Presentations and Collaborations
A standout installation, “La Rue – Resonant Landscapes,” will be presented by Moroso. Curated by Patrizia Moroso, this installation will showcase the Pebble Rubble collection by Front Design. Developed from 3D scans of natural surfaces, the installation features sculptural, modular forms upholstered in Kvadrat Febrik textiles. These creations transform natural elements into a soft, tactile experience, inviting visitors to engage with nature in a serene environment.
Additionally, the Mobilier National will co-present the Design Showcase Award 2025. This initiative aims to strengthen connections between French craftsmanship and Asian design culture. The award winner, Paul Bonlarron, will unveil a “Dining Room” that creatively incorporates culinary by-products, including plates made from eggshell enamel and a tapestry crafted from eggplant skin.
Event registration is now open and can be completed online. Attendees can visit the official registration page for further details.
The Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), which was established in June 2024, serves as the lead sponsor for the event. The agency’s mission is to support the cultural and creative industries in Hong Kong, fostering an environment conducive to growth and collaboration.
As the event approaches, anticipation for the innovations and connections that will emerge from Maison&Objet Intérieurs Hong Kong continues to grow, promising an enriching experience for all participants.
