Chery International Launches Global Endurance Journey Ahead of Summit

On October 15, 2025, Chery International initiated its global endurance journey, a significant event leading up to the 2025 User Summit in Wuhu, China. This initiative marks a collaborative effort to engage with global users and explore the future of mobility through real-world driving experiences. The campaign, titled “CO-CREATE • CO-DEFINE,” encompasses three distinct routes that together span over 2,300 kilometers, showcasing Chery’s commitment to innovation and quality in hybrid technology.

Exploring Diverse Terrains and Technologies

The endurance journey involves representatives from various markets taking the wheel as “Co-Creation Experience Officers.” Participants tested multiple models, including the CHERY T7, T8, T9, OMODA O5, J5, O7, and the LEPAS L8. Each route is designed to validate the performance and reliability of Chery’s hybrid systems under diverse driving conditions.

CHERY’s route, “Endless Horizons,” spans over 1,400 kilometers, beginning in Taiyuan, Shanxi, and traveling through Luoyang, Shangqiu, and Suzhou before concluding in Wuhu. This challenging course assesses the long-distance performance of the T7 PHEV, T8 PHEV, and T9 PHEV models across varied terrains and climates.

OMODA and JAECOO’s “Super Hybrid Marathon” is a 600-kilometer journey that starts and ends in Wuhu, navigating the demanding mountain roads of Huangshan. This segment highlights the efficiency and performance of the O5, J5, and O7 models, appealing to a younger demographic seeking dynamic control and advanced hybrid technology.

LEPAS’s “Global Journey of Elegant Drive” covers nearly 1,000 kilometers, departing from Shanghai and passing through Suzhou, Moganshan, and Xuancheng. The L8 model is put to the test under different conditions, including night driving and high-speed cruising, demonstrating its sophisticated technology and refined handling.
