CADIVI Celebrates 50 Years of Innovation and Growth in Vietnam

On October 7, 2025, the Vietnam Electric Cable Corporation, known as CADIVI, celebrated its 50th anniversary in Ho Chi Minh City, marking a significant milestone in the company’s history. The celebration, themed “Enduring the Conductors, Lighting the Country,” highlighted CADIVI’s journey over the past five decades and acknowledged the contributions of its leaders, employees, customers, and distributors.
Founded in 1975, CADIVI has grown alongside Vietnam, achieving remarkable success in the electric wire and cable industry. The company has maintained its position as a market leader for five consecutive years since 2021, has been recognized as a “High-Quality Vietnamese Goods” provider for 29 years, and has earned the title of “National Brand” for nine consecutive years.
Commitment to Quality and Growth
Mr. Ho Quang Nhan, General Director of CADIVI, expressed pride in the company’s evolution from humble beginnings to a major player in the industry. He stated, “Over the past 50 years, CADIVI has evolved from modest beginnings to become the leading brand in Vietnam’s electric wire and cable industry. This journey represents our commitment to affirming our position through quality, customer trust, and the enduring dedication of generations of employees.”
CADIVI has successfully expanded its operations beyond Vietnam, establishing a presence in demanding markets such as the United States, Australia, South Korea, and Japan. The company adheres to international technical standards and boasts trademark protection across eight countries. Its products are available in over 14 global markets, affirming the competitive capability of a Vietnamese brand.
Strategic Vision for the Future
Looking ahead, Mr. Le Ba Tho, Chairman of CADIVI’s Board of Directors, outlined the company’s strategic direction, emphasizing three pillars: Green, Digitalization, and Globalization. He stated, “CADIVI is embarking on a new phase, driven by our three strategic pillars. Our future efforts will focus on substantial investments in technology, talent and human capital, and core sustainable development initiatives.”
The company is prioritizing digital transformation by implementing advanced systems, including ERP systems, data analytics platforms, and intelligent management tools. These initiatives aim to optimize supply chain performance and enhance operational efficiency in an evolving market landscape.
As part of its growth strategy, CADIVI plans to expand its international footprint through exports, OEM partnerships, and technology transfers, specifically targeting countries in Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the Middle East. This commitment to customer satisfaction drives the company to continually enhance its operations and improve customer experiences.
Additionally, CADIVI is dedicated to social responsibility, engaging in vocational training programs, educational initiatives, and community development activities in underprivileged areas throughout Vietnam. The company’s motto, “More than manufacturing electric cables, we are shaping the future,” reflects its commitment to making a positive impact.
As CADIVI celebrates this significant anniversary, it not only recognizes its past achievements but also looks forward to a future filled with innovation, sustainability, and growth, reinforcing its position as a leader in the electric wire and cable manufacturing sector.
