Media Development Agency Assesses 2025 Performance and Future Goals
On December 17, 2025, the Media Development Agency (MEDİA) convened its Supervisory Board to evaluate its performance over the past year. The meeting, held in Azerbaijan, focused on the agency’s activities, achievements in international cooperation, and the broader impact of its projects on the national media landscape.
Reviewing Annual Achievements and Future Objectives
The meeting was attended by key figures, including Dagbeyi Ismayilov, the Supervisory Board Chairman, along with board members Vugar Aliyev, Shafag Mehraliyeva, Sevil Mikayilova, and Elchin Shikhly. Also present was Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of MEDİA. Together, they reviewed the agency’s performance across its priority areas and discussed strategic objectives for the upcoming period.
During the discussions, participants highlighted the importance of expanding partnership relations to strengthen Azerbaijan’s presence in the global information space. They emphasized how the agency’s initiatives have contributed to the development of the national media environment, enhancing its overall quality and reach.
As part of the meeting, Ahmad Ismayilov presented the board members with a special jubilee medal commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the Azerbaijani National Press, celebrating its historical significance and contributions to media development in the region.

The discussions also included plans to further enhance the agency’s international collaborations. The board members shared insights on various projects that have had significant impacts, both locally and globally.
