Mediacorp Stars Hong Ling and Nick Teo Celebrate Two Years of Love
Mediacorp stars Hong Ling and Nick Teo recently marked their second wedding anniversary, celebrating their love with a series of intimate activities. The couple, who first met over a decade ago on the set of the long-form drama 118, registered their marriage on December 14, 2021, before hosting a grand wedding banquet at the JW Marriott Singapore South Beach the following day.
To commemorate their anniversary, both Hong Ling and Teo shared heartfelt messages on social media. Hong Ling posted a behind-the-scenes video from their wedding day, writing: “Since 2014: Best friend to husband. Somehow still my favourite person. Happy anniversary, dearest.” Teo also shared glimpses of their day through a series of photographs, detailing their leisurely brunch, a relaxing massage, and a cozy dinner together.
Despite the simplicity of their celebration, the couple appeared content and joyful in each other’s company. Teo expressed his gratitude in his captions, remarking, “Even though we have been seeing each other on work off work recently, it seems like it is never enough. Thank you for being my pillar of support and taking care of me like I am your little brother.”
As part of his Instagram Story, Teo mentioned concluding the day with a gym session, ensuring he stayed active before returning to work. The reference to being a “little brother” holds special significance as the two actors are currently busy filming an upcoming crime drama titled No Other Way. In this series, Hong Ling portrays Teo’s older godsister, and the storyline gradually develops their romantic feelings for each other as they navigate criminal cases and confront personal challenges.
The couple’s on-screen chemistry has captivated fans, especially given their collaborative history on both seasons of 118 (2014, 2016) and the recent show Fix My Life (2023). Viewers are eager to see how their real-life relationship influences their performances in the new series.
Over the past year, Hong Ling and Teo have faced personal challenges, including the loss of loved ones and a miscarriage. Throughout these difficult times, they have leaned on each other for support, with colleagues, friends, and fans cheering them on as they navigate their journey of grief and healing.
As they celebrate this milestone, Hong Ling and Teo’s relationship continues to resonate with many, showcasing the strength of love and partnership in both their personal and professional lives.
