Tiger Brokers Launches “Star Presenter” Award in CFA Challenge

Tiger Brokers (Hong Kong) Global Limited has announced its inaugural sponsorship of the 2025–2026 CFA Institute Research Challenge — Hong Kong Local Final. This initiative marks a significant commitment to talent development and professional education in the finance sector. As part of this year’s competition, Tiger Brokers will introduce the “Tiger Brokers Presents: Star Presenter” award, which recognizes participants who excel in clarity, analytical rigor, and professional presentation skills.
The CFA Institute Research Challenge is a prestigious global competition that spans regions including Asia, Europe, the United States, and the Middle East & Africa. This year’s event marks the 22nd edition of the Hong Kong regional final. University teams participating in the challenge will conduct extensive analyses of a selected publicly listed company and submit comprehensive research reports. Under the guidance of industry mentors, students will gain valuable hands-on experience in company analysis, valuation modeling, and presentation skills. These competencies are essential for building successful finance careers.
Tiger Brokers aligns its values with the competition’s emphasis on ethical standards and analytical rigor. At the opening ceremony, John Zeng, Group CFO and CEO of Tiger Brokers (Hong Kong), stated, “We are honored to support the Hong Kong Local Final and sponsor the ‘Star Presenter’ award — a new addition that celebrates the art of clear, ethical, and impactful communication.” He emphasized that “beyond great research, the ability to tell a persuasive and responsible story is what defines outstanding professionals in finance.” Through this initiative, the firm aims to inspire students to pursue their careers with both analytical excellence and integrity.
The commitment of Tiger Brokers to education and youth development is not new. Earlier in 2025, the company partnered with the Academy of Visual Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University to launch the inaugural “Tiger Brokers Art Prize.” This initiative, along with sponsorship of the AVA BA Graduation Show, aims to provide emerging creative talents with visibility and industry opportunities. Additionally, the firm runs structured internship and mentorship programs that offer university students practical experience, professional guidance, and pathways to integrate academic learning with real-world practice.
Tiger Brokers’ sponsorship of the CFA Institute Research Challenge is part of a broader mission to blend education and technology, fostering a more inclusive and resilient investment community. By empowering the next generation of finance professionals, Tiger Brokers remains committed to enhancing innovation, ethics, and excellence in the industry.
Tiger Brokers (HK) holds several licenses from the Securities and Futures Commission, including types 1, 2, 4, 5, and 9. Since launching its flagship app, Tiger Trade, on November 30, 2022, the firm has enabled Hong Kong users to trade a variety of financial products from major global markets, including stocks, options, and ETFs. Looking ahead, the company plans to expand its trading markets and offerings to better serve Hong Kong investors.
Founded in 2014, Tiger Brokers (Nasdaq: TIGR) is recognized as a leading online brokerage group, focused on redefining global investing through technology. The firm aims to offer a superior user experience, enabling efficient and innovative investing. With over 10 million users and around 2.6 million global account holders, Tiger Brokers continues to develop its technology infrastructure to provide reliable, secure, and scalable services across diverse markets.
As Tiger Brokers invests in the future of finance, its sponsorship of the CFA Institute Research Challenge exemplifies its dedication to nurturing talent and fostering a culture of excellence within the investment community.
