Chery International Embarks on Global Endurance Journey Ahead of Summit
On October 15, 2025, Chery International initiated a significant dialogue on future mobility as part of its global endurance journey. This event precedes the 2025 Chery International User Summit and involves a collaborative effort with global users. The journey, themed “CO-CREATE • CO-DEFINE,” aims to gather real-world technical feedback while delivering authentic driving experiences across three distinct routes.
Media representatives and dealer partners from around the world participated as “Co-Creation Experience Officers.” They drove various models, including the CHERY T7, T8, and T9, along with OMODA & JAECOO’s O5, J5, and O7, and the LEPAS L8. The combined distance of over 2,300 kilometers will culminate in Wuhu, the summit’s main venue, symbolizing a collective exploration of technology and shared mobility.
Comprehensive Validation Across Diverse Routes
Chery’s endurance campaign features three uniquely designed routes that provide comprehensive validation of its hybrid technology. The “Endless Horizons” route, beginning in Taiyuan, Shanxi, spans over 1,400 kilometers through Luoyang, Shangqiu, and Suzhou before reaching Wuhu. This journey tests the reliability and adaptability of the T7 PHEV, T8 PHEV, and T9 PHEV models across various terrains and climates.
OMODA & JAECOO’s “Super Hybrid Marathon” starts and ends in Wuhu, covering approximately 600 kilometers. This challenging route through the mountainous roads of Huangshan demonstrates the efficiency and dynamic control of the O5, J5, and O7 models, appealing to a younger generation of consumers.
Additionally, LEPAS’s “Global Journey of Elegant Drive” departs from Shanghai and traverses nearly 1,000 kilometers through Suzhou, Moganshan, and Xuancheng before arriving in Wuhu. The L8 encounters diverse driving conditions, including night driving and high-speed cruising, showcasing its intelligent technology and refined handling.
Value Co-Creation and Ecosystem Development
This multi-brand endurance campaign exemplifies Chery International’s commitment to openness and innovation, building on previous endurance experiences. Throughout the journey, Co-Creation Experience Officers tested Chery’s hybrid systems under real-world conditions, providing valuable insights for future product development and technological advancement.
The initiative aligns with the “CO-CREATE • CO-DEFINE” vision for the upcoming summit. It highlights how Chery’s technological and user experience goals are shaped through collaboration with global partners. The endurance campaign also emphasizes Chery Group’s ability to address diverse global mobility needs. CHERY’s T-series PHEV models offer reliable long-distance performance combined with intelligent comfort features. OMODA & JAECOO’s offerings provide strong hybrid performance across complex terrains, while LEPAS’s L8 embodies intelligent mobility and a refined lifestyle.
As the journey concludes, participants will arrive in Wuhu equipped with real-world data and first-hand experiences. These insights will help Chery and its global partners collaboratively define the future of intelligent mobility.
The feedback gathered during this campaign will be critical for the 2025 Chery International User Summit, which officially opens on October 17. This summit will delve into the potential of hybrid technology and the co-creation of user ecosystems. It promises to be a momentous occasion, bringing together Chery, global users, and industry partners to foster a new ecosystem for smart mobility.
Chery Group remains committed to innovation-driven, user-centered growth, actively working with global partners to shape a smarter and more connected future in mobility.
