ADA and Opptra Join Forces to Boost Ecommerce for Global Brands

ADA, a leading independent data and AI company, has announced a strategic partnership with Opptra, a global commerce firm focused on expanding consumer brands into the Asian market. This collaboration aims to facilitate the entry of Hasbro, a renowned toy and entertainment brand, into Southeast Asia’s burgeoning ecommerce sector, with additional global brands expected to follow suit.
The partnership combines ADA’s digital, data, and AI capabilities with Opptra’s extensive portfolio of global brands and category expertise. As Southeast Asia’s digital economy continues to grow rapidly, this alliance establishes a vital link for international brands to capitalize on the region’s substantial ecommerce potential.
Through this collaboration, ADA will manage flagship marketplace stores for Opptra’s global brand portfolio. The partnership will offer a comprehensive suite of ecommerce growth services, which include digital store operations, AI-powered predictive analytics, marketing strategies, creative solutions, and analytics support. The goal is to enhance brands’ visibility across various marketplaces while laying the groundwork for direct-to-consumer and omnichannel expansion.
“Southeast Asia is one of the world’s most exciting digital commerce frontiers,” stated Srinivas Gattamneni, CEO of ADA. “Our partnership with Opptra will enable global brands to enter the region’s digital marketplaces today and, in the long run, transform how they connect, sell, and grow through data, AI, and technology.”
Opptra’s CEO, Ranjit Babu, emphasized the importance of understanding local markets and executing strategies with precision. “Partnering with ADA helps us achieve both at scale. Together, we can help brands reach millions of young, digital-first consumers across Southeast Asia quickly and efficiently.”
The introduction of Hasbro into the Southeast Asian market marks a significant milestone for the partnership and signals the beginning of a broader initiative. With a robust pipeline of global brands spanning multiple categories, ADA and Opptra are poised to enhance their collaboration, further shaping the region’s digital commerce landscape.
ADA specializes in creating AI-powered commerce experiences aimed at driving measurable outcomes. With headquarters in Singapore and Malaysia, the company operates in 14 markets and employs a team of 1,000 professionals, serving approximately 1,500 clients across industries such as retail, consumer packaged goods, and financial services.
Founded with the support of Binny Bansal, co-founder of Flipkart, Opptra focuses on launching and scaling global brands across Asia. The company integrates advanced technology with deep domain expertise and a streamlined global supply chain. Opptra’s ecommerce-first approach and omnichannel technology empower brands to navigate markets swiftly and effectively.
As this partnership unfolds, it promises to not only enhance the presence of powerful global brands in Southeast Asia but also to redefine how these brands engage with consumers in an increasingly digital world.
