Pegatron 5G has announced its participation in the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, showcasing a range of advanced 5G technologies aimed at enhancing India’s digital landscape. This year’s event, held in New Delhi, focuses on the theme “Innovation: The Engine of India’s Progress.” Pegatron 5G’s contributions are expected to significantly accelerate the ongoing transformation across various sectors, aligning with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

At IMC 2025, Pegatron 5G will introduce its new offerings, including the indoor O-RAN Radio unit, designated as PR1450, and the integrated small cell, known as PS1400. Both products are set to be manufactured at Pegatron’s facilities in India, reflecting the company’s commitment to the Make in India initiative. In addition, the company will showcase the high-power Open RAN Radio Unit PR2850, further enhancing its portfolio of 5G communication products.

Showcasing Technological Innovations

One of the highlights of Pegatron’s presentation will be the RedCap technology, which integrates multiple devices, including the PG5200, Muscat, MD200, PR1450, and PS1400. This technology aims to provide a cost-effective and energy-efficient method for connecting industrial and Internet of Things (IoT) devices to 5G networks. Such innovations promise to simplify device architecture, reduce operational costs, and improve the efficiency of enterprise and private networks.

Another significant showcase will be the Edge AI/PEGAVERSE, which utilizes proprietary Digital Twin technology to facilitate smart manufacturing and other industry verticals. Additionally, the Network in Radio (NiR) solution will combine radio functionalities with third-party core network capabilities, allowing for streamlined deployments in critical sectors such as emergency and security services.

Commitment to India’s Digital Future

CY Feng, General Manager of Pegatron’s Communication Products Business Group, emphasized the importance of India’s dynamic market and the opportunities presented by the Make in India policy. Feng stated, “By showcasing the full range of our 5G communication products, we aim to empower emergency response, enable energy savings, and support all AIoT applications with smarter, faster, and more reliable connectivity.”

Pegatron 5G is also enhancing its presence in India through collaborations with several key solution partners, including Radisys, HPE, MaxLinear, Metanoia, Aethertek, Flexsol, and Techphosis.
