Waterbomb Singapore 2025 electrified audiences over the weekend of August 30 and 31, transforming Siloso Beach into a vibrant festival of music and entertainment. The event showcased a mix of international K-pop stars and local talent, delivering exhilarating performances that thrilled thousands of fans.

Local artists kicked off the festivities on Saturday, beginning with DJ Kiara, who set the tone with an energetic set that got the crowd moving. Following her, WhyLucas, a rising star from Singapore, captivated attendees with his self-composed songs and a lively cover of “Soda Pop” by the Saja Boys. Despite his excitement, WhyLucas, whose real name is Lucas Wang, expressed some nerves about performing on what he described as “the biggest stage” of his career.

The excitement peaked with the first “Waterbomb Time” segment, where dancers doused festival-goers with water, ensuring that everyone near the stage got soaked. The fun continued with performances from CLC members Seungyeon and Sorn. Seungyeon showcased her DJ skills, while Sorn delivered impressive vocals that thrilled the crowd.

As the sun began to set, the atmosphere grew electric. The stage transformed into a visually stunning spectacle with neon lights illuminating the night sky. Minho, a member of the popular K-pop group Shinee, took the stage, inciting cheers with his dynamic performance. Fans erupted with shouts of “Oppa, I love you!” as he engaged the audience.

The day concluded with Taemin, Minho’s groupmate, performing solo tracks like “Want” and “Guilty.” However, it was their collaboration on the Shinee hit “View” that drew the loudest cheers, with Minho playfully drenching both himself and Taemin in water during the performance.

The excitement continued into the second day, where the focus shifted to sealing the “Honmoon,” featuring numerous DJs playing tracks from the hit film *KPop Demon Hunters*, particularly “Golden.”

Standout performances on Sunday included rapper Lee Young-ji, who energized the crowd by encouraging fans to spray water onto her, creating an interactive experience. K-pop icons 2NE1 also graced the stage, delivering powerful renditions of their hits “Fire,” “I Am The Best,” and “Clap Your Hands,” despite the absence of member Park Bom.
