INMO Launches INMO Air3: Groundbreaking AR Glasses Debut at IFA 2025
At the IFA 2025 in Berlin, INMO has unveiled the INMO Air3, touted as the world’s first 1080P full color optical waveguide all-in-one augmented reality (AR) glasses. This launch represents a significant advancement for the AR industry, addressing long-standing challenges related to brightness, clarity, and user comfort.
Innovative Technology for Enhanced User Experience
The INMO Air3 combines Sony’s Micro OLED display with cutting-edge waveguide optics, delivering cinema-quality visuals in a lightweight and transparent design. With a resolution of 1080P and a brightness level of 600 nits, users can expect stunning imagery across a wide 36-degree field of view. This innovative approach signifies a shift towards integrating spatial computing into daily routines.
The glasses are equipped with advanced features, including built-in sensors, a battery, and powerful computing capabilities, all of which eliminate the need for external modules or cables. With an 8-core Snapdragon XR platform, 8GB of memory, and 128GB of onboard storage, the INMO Air3 supports multiple floating screens, transforming it into an immersive hub for both productivity and entertainment.
Flexible Interaction and Developer Opportunities
Interaction with the INMO Air3 is designed to be user-friendly, offering multiple control options including a Smart Ring, touchpad, or temple touch controls. Additionally, the device supports voice commands and gestures, further enhancing user engagement. For developers, INMO provides software development kits (SDKs), app store integration, and a development platform based on the open-source n8n project. This allows developers to create, customize, or import AI agents to broaden the device’s functionality.
The INMO Air3 will launch globally on Kickstarter in September 2025, with an early-bird price of $799 secured with a $30 deposit. The standard retail price is set at $1,099. Early supporters will enjoy priority shipping and exclusive VIP benefits. Attendees of IFA 2025 can experience the INMO Air3 firsthand at Booth H25-167.
According to Joy Li, spokesperson for INMO, the company is committed to advancing the integration of artificial intelligence and augmented reality technologies. As a leader in the field of smart glasses, INMO aims to create a vertically integrated ecosystem that encompasses hardware and software development, testing, manufacturing, and distribution.
