H3C Digital Tour 2025 Kicks Off in Hong Kong, Paving Path for AI
On November 4, 2025, the H3C Digital Tour 2025 was successfully launched in Hong Kong, gathering nearly 500 attendees, including government officials, industry experts, and key partners. Themed “Synergy+”, the event focused on the role of collaboration in advancing digital transformation across various sectors in Hong Kong and Macau.
In his keynote address, Tony Yu, Chairman of the Board of Unisplendour and President & CEO of H3C, highlighted the company’s commitment to fostering AI-led growth. He stated, “As a leader in digital and AI solutions, H3C is rooted in China with a global presence,” emphasizing ongoing efforts to deepen the “AI in ALL” strategy. Yu underscored the importance of leveraging H3C’s Linseer AI Computing Solution to redefine computing infrastructure and promote intelligent applications.
The event also featured opening remarks from Ir Tony Wong, JP, Commissioner for Digital Policy at the HKSAR Government. Wong articulated the government’s support for H3C’s initiatives, noting the company’s vital role in the digital economy. “H3C is a leader in digitalization and AI solutions, supporting the intelligent upgrades of various industries,” he remarked, reflecting on AI’s status as a key driver of social progress.
Strengthening Collaborations for Future Growth
H3C’s commitment to collaboration was evident as the company signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with the Hong Kong Generative AI Research & Development Center and the Hong Kong Institute of Information Technology. These partnerships aim to bolster Hong Kong’s digital economy and foster innovation in AI technologies.
During the event, Dr. Rocky Cheng Chung-ngam, CEO of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company, shared insights on building an AI ecosystem. He emphasized the importance of fostering collaboration through initiatives that drive research and development. The event also featured notable speakers such as Prof Yike Guo, Provost of HKUST, who presented a vision for the future development of AI in the region.
Industry leaders, including Flora Ng, CIO & University Librarian of The Hong Kong University, and Dr. John Hui, Principal of the Hong Kong Institute of Information Technology, discussed the significance of intelligent connectivity and talent development in the AI landscape. Their insights contributed to a broader understanding of how these elements are crucial for advancing AI applications across sectors.
Addressing Security in the Age of AI
H3C also focused on the critical issue of cybersecurity, collaborating with the Hong Kong Cybersecurity Professional Association to discuss the evolving security landscape. Songer Sun, Senior Vice President of H3C, emphasized the need for a proactive security strategy centered on AI. He pointed out the challenges posed by the increasing adoption of AI technologies, including data security and algorithm ethics.
The panel discussion featured key industry figures, including Stanley Wong, Chief Information Security Officer of Cyberport, who highlighted the necessity of integrating security measures throughout the AI lifecycle. Participants agreed that prioritizing security is essential for sustainable AI development, ensuring a solid defense for applications in both Hong Kong and Macau.
The exhibition area showcased H3C’s leading products, such as the Linseer Intelligent Computing Solution, which integrates diverse computing power with high-quality connectivity. Feedback from attendees indicated strong interest in H3C’s offerings, reinforcing the company’s position as a key player in the region’s digital transformation.
