Chery Unveils AiMOGA Robot Family at 2026 AI Night in Wuhu
On January 17, 2026, Chery held its flagship event, the “Technology Meets AI” 2026 AI Night, in Wuhu, Anhui Province. The event highlighted Chery’s advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), particularly through the introduction of its AiMOGA Robotics family. This showcase emphasized the company’s commitment to integrating AI into everyday life and public service.
A New Era of Embodied Intelligence
The concept of embodied intelligence focuses on the physical interaction of AI with the real world. Unlike traditional AI systems that operate solely through screens or voice commands, embodied intelligence emphasizes physical presence and autonomous action. This transition enables robots to perceive, make decisions, and execute tasks in real environments.
During the AI Night, AiMOGA Robotics showcased its potential to bridge the gap between digital and physical realms. Built on Chery’s established strengths in intelligent systems and manufacturing, AiMOGA aims to incorporate embodied intelligence into various aspects of daily life. The demonstration illustrated how these technologies could be deployed in real-world scenarios.
Engaging Exhibits and Public Interaction
A dedicated exhibition area featured the AiMOGA robot family, which included several innovative models, such as the “Wuyou” Intelligent Police R001 and the “AiMOGA Care” RN001 medical service robot. Visitors had the opportunity to interact with these robots, observing firsthand their capabilities in communication, guidance, and collaboration.
The AiMOGA display attracted significant attention, becoming one of the most popular attractions at the event. Attendees were able to see how these robots could enhance public services and improve everyday tasks through practical applications of AI technology.
AiMOGA Robotics represents a critical aspect of Chery’s broader AI strategy, which continues to evolve beyond its automotive roots. While cars remain a central focus, the company is also expanding into areas such as smart mobility and intelligent manufacturing. This diversification is part of Chery’s vision for a comprehensive human–vehicle–home ecosystem.
By the end of 2025, AiMOGA had successfully deployed over 300 robots and 1,000 robotic dogs across more than 30 countries. The humanoid robot Mornine has received both hardware and software certifications from the European Union, further facilitating Chery’s aspirations for global expansion.
Chery’s commitment to developing trusted human intelligent assistants through practical technology is evident in its ongoing innovation. The unveiling of the AiMOGA Robotics family marks a significant milestone in the company’s pursuit of advanced AI solutions that can positively impact society.
