BiLight Innovations Launches Three Revolutionary Perovskite Products
At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 in Las Vegas, held on January 7, 2026, BiLight Innovations unveiled three pioneering products that leverage perovskite technology, aiming to reshape energy solutions for both residential and commercial applications. The new offerings include the world’s first rollable photovoltaic curtain, a battery-free electronic nameplate, and an innovative portable solar scroll, highlighting the company’s commitment to flexible energy technologies.
Breakthrough Products Showcasing Versatility
The rollable photovoltaic curtain is a standout, measuring a mere 0.1 mm thick and weighing less than 150 g/m². With a bending radius of under 10 mm, it challenges the rigidity associated with traditional photovoltaic modules. This curtain achieves over 18% conversion efficiency and performs exceptionally well in low-light conditions. It can be seamlessly integrated into interior designs, mounted on standard curtain rails, and generates power from natural or ambient lighting to support lamps, smart devices, and energy storage systems. Additionally, it offers thermal insulation and solar shading, showcasing multifunctional capabilities in a single installation.
The innovative electronic nameplate represents a significant advancement in sustainable technology. It combines perovskite photovoltaic panels with low-power e-paper displays, allowing it to operate continuously under typical indoor lighting conditions of 500 lux. This eliminates the need for charging or battery replacements. Equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, the nameplate enables real-time content updates, making it suitable for conference rooms and workstations by displaying names, meeting agendas, and other essential information, thereby reducing paper waste.
BiLight also introduced a portable flexible photovoltaic panel designed for outdoor use. This scroll-style solution exemplifies convenience and adaptability. Users can easily pull both ends to unfurl the compact unit into a full-sized generator. With a fabric-like thickness, it fits comfortably into a backpack, making it an ideal power source for outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and beach excursions.
Advancing Sustainable Energy Solutions
These groundbreaking innovations demonstrate the advantages of perovskite technology, particularly in terms of low-light efficiency, mechanical flexibility, and low-power adaptability. They signify a significant leap forward in flexible, battery-free photovoltaic solutions, expanding the applications of solar energy from industrial use to everyday settings.
BiLight Innovations, known for its research and development in perovskite photovoltaic technology, aims to democratize clean energy access across residential, commercial, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The company’s efforts are geared towards accelerating the global transition to low-carbon energy solutions.
According to industry insiders, these products represent a major step in enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability in various environments. As awareness and demand for renewable energy solutions continue to grow, BiLight’s innovations position the company as a key player in the clean energy landscape.
