RayNeo Launches Award-Winning X3 Pro AR Glasses Globally
RayNeo has officially launched its flagship AR glasses, the RayNeo X3 Pro, on December 17, 2025, following its recognition by TIME Magazine as one of the “Best Inventions of 2025.” This global rollout introduces advanced augmented reality technology to consumers in the United States and other key markets.
The X3 Pro is designed to enhance daily life by providing a versatile platform for both productivity and entertainment. Users can engage in hands-free photography, utilize real-time translation across languages, and benefit from AI-powered note-taking. For leisure activities, these glasses function as a personal media hub, supporting immersive viewing experiences, gaming, and music. Notably, the device allows users to install and interact with popular Android applications such as TikTok and YouTube, merging traditional mobile convenience with the capabilities of augmented reality.
Technological Innovations Behind the X3 Pro
RayNeo has engineered the X3 Pro with a strong emphasis on four core pillars: visual performance, intelligent processing, intuitive interaction, and an open software ecosystem.
The device features the world’s smallest full-color MicroLED optical engine, co-developed with Applied Materials, which offers a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. This ensures clarity in various environments. The Snapdragon AR1 platform powers the device, delivering top-tier AI and multimedia performance within a lightweight frame of just 76 grams (2.7 ounces).
For user-friendly control, the X3 Pro integrates a five-way touchpad and voice command capabilities, along with support for paired devices like smartphones and Apple Watches. Its operating system, RayNeoOS 2.0, features an innovative AR Application Virtual Machine that grants direct access to a vast Android app library.
Standing Out in the AR Market
In a competitive AR landscape, the X3 Pro distinguishes itself with its superior visual design and commitment to an open ecosystem. Unlike competitors that utilize monocular approaches, the X3 Pro employs a true binocular display, which reduces eye strain and enhances user comfort during media consumption and photography.
The open ecosystem of the X3 Pro supports leading AI platforms such as GPT and provides developers with robust tools like Unity and Android ARDK. This stand in contrast to closed systems that limit user options and functionality.
RayNeo focuses on practical user innovations, such as enabling usage while charging, which allows for all-day usability. The dual-touchpad interface offers more intuitive control compared to single-input alternatives, enhancing the overall user experience.
“The TIME award validates our integrated approach: combining groundbreaking hardware with an open, user-centric platform,” stated Howie Li, founder and CEO of RayNeo. He emphasized that the launch of the X3 Pro allows users to adapt the device to their lives, enhancing productivity and integrating seamlessly into daily entertainment.
Market Position and Future Prospects
RayNeo is recognized as a leader in the consumer augmented reality market, with its portfolio including the AI-enhanced X Series and the versatile Air Series. As the official worldwide Olympic partner in the AR glasses category, RayNeo is poised to shape the future of immersive technology.
Recent data from Counterpoint Research indicates that RayNeo captured a 24% market share in the global AR glasses market during the third quarter of 2025, securing its position as a top player in the industry. With the introduction of the X3 Pro, RayNeo is set to continue its growth trajectory while transforming everyday life for millions of users worldwide.
