Mediacorp Triumphs with 13 Wins at ContentAsia Awards 2025

Singapore’s national media network, Mediacorp, achieved remarkable success at the ContentAsia Awards 2025, securing a total of 13 awards, including two prestigious Viewers Choice awards. This event took place on September 4, 2025, in Taiwan and celebrated the best of Asian content across various platforms.
The ContentAsia Awards featured over 150 nominated programs competing in 28 categories, judged by a panel of 99 industry experts from countries including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the United States, and India. Mediacorp’s haul included four gold, seven silver, and two bronze awards, marking a significant achievement for the organization in the competitive media landscape.
A Showcase of Excellence in Asian Media
The gold awards earned by Mediacorp highlighted its dedication to quality programming. Notable wins included:
– **Best Current Affairs Programme Made In Asia For A Single Market In Asia**: *CNA Correspondent: They Are Coming Home*.
– **Best Current Affairs Programme Made In Asia For Regional Asia And/Or International Markets**: *Walk The Line*.
– **Best Factual Programme Made In Asia For A Single Asian Market**: *Before You Go*.
– **Best Drama Series Made For a Single Market In Asia**: *Another Wok Of Life*.
In the silver category, Mediacorp showcased its diverse offerings with programs such as *Dishing With Chris Lee Season 2* and *Undercover Asia S11: The Digital Hostage*. The latter, produced in collaboration with Threesixzero Productions, further exemplifies the network’s commitment to impactful storytelling.
The bronze awards recognized productions including *321 Action! Season 3 – Prey* and *Karuvanam*, which earned accolades for sound design.
Viewers Choice Awards Celebrate Popular Talent
Additionally, Mediacorp’s talent was celebrated through the Viewers Choice awards. James Seah was voted Favourite Actor for his role in *Another Wok Of Life*, while Jesseca Liu received the Favourite Actress award for her performance in *Unforgivable*.
Other winners at the ContentAsia Awards included the popular South Korean television program *SNL Korea*, which won gold for Best Comedy Programme Made In Asia. The awards also recognized acting talent with joint gold winners for Best Male Lead in a TV Programme, Wei-en Song and Zahaan Kapoor.
In a statement, Janine Stein, president of the ContentAsia Awards, emphasized the significance of Asian productions.
