eBay Honors Top Sellers at Exporter of the Year 2025 in Hanoi
On December 30, 2025, eBay held its annual Exporter of the Year event in Hanoi, Vietnam, celebrating outstanding sellers from emerging markets who are enhancing global trade and promoting sustainable commerce. The two-day event gathered over 200 top-performing sellers from regions including Eastern Europe, the Middle East, India, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.
This year’s ceremony recognized 22 exceptional sellers for their impressive growth and commitment to delivering high-quality buyer experiences. These individuals have effectively utilized eBay’s ecosystem, which includes marketplace access, logistics, advertising, and various seller tools, to thrive in the face of ongoing global challenges.
Key Awards and Recognitions
Sellers from Southeast Asia particularly distinguished themselves at the event. Representatives from SCC Consignments in Singapore, Lau Boon Yang and Junius Chia, received the Collectibles Excellence Award. Dennis Tan of Typhon Machinery earned the Business and Industrial Excellence Award, while Amit Chilgunde from Creation Watches was honored with the Fashion and Watches Excellence Award. Additionally, Yuumi Ngui from Singapore and Johanthan Indra from Indonesia were named runners-up in the collectibles category.
The recognition of these sellers highlights the significant role they play in cross-border trade, further solidifying Southeast Asia’s reputation as a powerhouse within the global emerging markets.
