Korea Showcases Health Food Innovations at Vitafoods Asia 2025

The Korea Health Functional Food Association (KHFF) is set to participate in Vitafoods Asia 2025>, a significant event taking place from September 17 to 19 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand. This participation aims to highlight the advancements and global competitiveness of South Korea’s health functional food sector.
At the event, KHFF will operate the Korea Health Functional Food Promotional Booth, located in Hall 5, E16, under the slogan “K-Health W.A.V.E“. The booth will feature key ingredients and products from major companies in the sector, showcasing the technological strengths and reliability of Korea’s health functional food industry. Visitors will have the opportunity to gain insights into the industry’s institutional framework and the latest product trends.
In addition to the booth, KHFF will host a promotional seminar from September 17 to 18 at Level 1, Room 109. This seminar will include presentations by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and various KHFF member companies. During these sessions, attendees will learn about Korea’s scientific recognition system for health functional foods, along with research achievements and cutting-edge technologies.
Jeong Myung-su, Chairman of KHFF, emphasized the importance of this event, stating, “As a globally recognized occasion, Vitafoods Asia provides an optimal platform to showcase the exceptional quality and systems of Korea’s health functional foods.” He added that the exhibition will enhance trust in Korea’s functional ingredients and products, open export channels, and strengthen the competitiveness of domestic firms.
By leveraging the promotional booth and seminar, KHFF aims to support its member companies in expanding overseas. The association is committed to fostering various exchange and cooperation activities to bolster the global competitiveness of Korea’s health functional food industry, extending its influence beyond Asia.
The participation in Vitafoods Asia 2025 marks a significant step for South Korea, as it seeks to position itself as a leader in the health functional food market on the international stage.
