Korea Health Functional Food Association to Showcase Innovation at Vitafoods Asia 2025

The Korea Health Functional Food Association (KHFF) will participate in the upcoming Vitafoods Asia 2025, scheduled for September 17 to 19 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand. This event will allow KHFF to highlight the technological advancements and quality of South Korea’s health functional food sector to a global audience.

At the expo, KHFF will set up the Korea Health Functional Food Promotional Booth in Hall 5, E16, promoting the slogan “K-Health W.A.V.E.” The booth aims to showcase the technological strengths and reliability of Korea’s health functional foods. Visitors can expect to see a range of significant companies’ ingredients and products, along with insights into Korea’s scientific recognition system for health functional foods.

The event will also feature a promotional seminar on September 17 and 18 at Level 1, Room 109. This seminar will include presentations from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and various KHFF member companies, discussing Korea’s scientific recognition system and recent research accomplishments in the health functional food industry.

KHFF Chairman Jeong Myung-su emphasized the importance of participating in such a globally recognized event, stating, “Vitafoods Asia is the optimal opportunity to showcase the outstanding quality and systems of Korea’s health functional foods.” He added that this exhibition will strengthen trust in Korean functional ingredients, open new export channels, and enhance the competitiveness of domestic companies.

By operating the promotional booth and hosting the seminar, KHFF aims to support its member companies in expanding internationally. The association is committed to fostering exchange and cooperation, enabling Korea’s health functional food industry to increase its competitiveness on the global stage beyond Asia.
