KIMS Hospitals and Emoha Eldercare Launch Innovative Senior Care Program

On August 22, 2025, KIMS Hospitals in Thane and Emoha Eldercare, a leading provider of geriatric care in India, announced a significant collaboration aimed at enhancing elder care in the region. This partnership was unveiled on World Senior Citizen Day and introduced a comprehensive elderly care service to a gathering of approximately 200 senior citizens from Thane.
The initiative includes a free Super Specialty Camp for senior citizens held at KIMS Hospitals, emphasizing the commitment of both organizations to create a supportive environment for the elderly. Together, they are working to develop a holistic care ecosystem that encompasses both physical and emotional well-being, ensuring that every elder feels secure, valued, and cared for.
As the designated Geriatric Care Partner at KIMS Hospitals, Emoha will provide specialized medical attention tailored to the unique health needs of seniors. This collaboration addresses the crucial gap between hospital care and home support. Elders discharged from KIMS Hospitals will benefit from ongoing medical supervision and compassionate home care, significantly reducing the risks of readmission, relapse, and emotional distress.
Emoha’s trained caregivers and nursing staff will offer continuous assistance, including medication management, vital monitoring, and support for daily health requirements. This comprehensive approach aims to facilitate faster recovery in the comfort of home.
Bridging the Gap in Elder Care
The emotional aspect of elder care is equally vital. Through the Emoha App, seniors will connect with a vibrant community of their peers across the country. This platform enables access to online shows, interactive events, and curated activities that foster joy, purpose, and companionship in their daily lives. Emoha’s community-focused strategy ensures that elders remain active, engaged, and appreciated within their families and communities.
Saurabh Gupta, Regional Chief Operating Officer of KIMS Hospitals, expressed pride in initiating this integrated elder care program. He stated, “This initiative is a step toward ensuring that every elder in Thane receives the best-in-class medical attention along with personalized home-based care and emotional well-being support.”
Saumyajit Roy, CEO and Co-founder of Emoha Eldercare, highlighted the importance of dignity and joy in elder care. “Caring for elders isn’t just about treating illness—it’s about ensuring they live with dignity, safety, and joy. With KIMS Hospitals, Thane, we are creating a complete ecosystem that combines physical care and emotional support under one trusted umbrella.”
This partnership represents a transformative shift in how elder care is approached in Thane, reflecting a growing recognition of the need for comprehensive support systems for senior citizens. As both organizations move forward with this initiative, they aim to set a benchmark for elder care in the region, promoting a model that other areas may look to replicate.
