Tuya Smart Unveils Hey Tuya: An AI Assistant for Everyday Life
Tuya Smart, a prominent global AI cloud platform service provider, has launched a new AI assistant called Hey Tuya, designed to enhance everyday tasks by integrating artificial intelligence into various aspects of daily life. This announcement was made on December 25, 2025, in HANGZHOU, China, marking a significant advancement in the capabilities of AI agents.
The introduction of Hey Tuya represents a shift from traditional virtual assistants, which typically perform straightforward tasks. Instead, Hey Tuya aims to become a comprehensive life assistant that can sense environments, learn user habits, and coordinate with various physical devices. This multi-agent collaborative architecture allows users to access their AI assistant from multiple platforms, including the Tuya App, smart speakers, control hubs, and even AI-enabled toys and wearables.
Transforming Interaction with AI
Hey Tuya is designed to facilitate seamless collaboration among devices, creating a more integrated smart home and office experience. It features both short-term and long-term memory, enabling it to learn and adapt to users’ routines and preferences. For example, it could proactively suggest turning on the air conditioner 30 minutes before a user arrives home or preheating the water heater ahead of their morning routine.
This continuous learning process enhances the user experience by making interactions with Hey Tuya more intuitive and efficient. The assistant evolves to meet user needs, moving from reactive commands to proactive recommendations, ultimately streamlining daily tasks.
Advanced Technology Underpinning Hey Tuya
Hey Tuya’s capabilities are powered by Tuya’s proprietary Physical AI Engine (PAE), which utilizes the AI-Device Real-Time Network (AD-RTN) for global edge acceleration. This technology establishes a reliable and low-latency communication system for AI devices, ensuring quick responses and efficient operations.
The assistant also incorporates advanced engines for natural language processing, visual understanding, and IoT device communication. With the help of OmniMem long-term memory technology, PAE allows for continuous learning across various interactions, enabling the AI to better understand user preferences and spatial habits.
Developers can integrate Hey Tuya into their own AI hardware or customize its features, fostering a collaborative ecosystem that continues to evolve. To date, over 12,000 AI Agents have already been created on Tuya’s platform, generating an impressive 155 million daily AI interactions across diverse scenarios.
Hey Tuya is now available for individual consumers, who can download the Tuya App from major app stores or visit Tuya.AI to begin their journey with this innovative AI assistant. As it expands its features, user feedback will be integrated to further enhance the overall experience.
Tuya Smart, recognized for its leadership in AI cloud platform services, aims to apply AI technologies to everyday life. With over 1.622 million registered accounts across more than 200 countries as of September 30, 2025, Tuya is committed to creating an open and neutral ecosystem that supports the development of smart devices and commercial applications worldwide.
As the company progresses with the Hey Tuya initiative, it promises to redefine how users interact with technology, making AI an integral part of their daily routines.
