The Metropolitan Festival Orchestra (MFO) will present two exciting concerts at Fort Canning Green in Singapore next January, showcasing reimagined versions of popular music. The events, scheduled for January 23 and January 25, will feature a blend of club hits and film scores, inviting attendees to experience these familiar tunes in a new light.
The first concert, Ministry Of Sound Classical, will take place on January 23, 2024. This performance promises to transform iconic electronic tracks into powerful orchestral arrangements. Attendees can expect dynamic reinterpretations of popular dance anthems such as Darude’s Sandstorm, Faithless’ Insomnia, and Fatboy Slim’s Right Here, Right Now. Tickets for this unique event are available through Ticketek, with prices starting at S$130.
Following closely, on January 25, 2024, the MFO will host The Music of Zimmer Vs Williams. This concert will feature a 70-piece ensemble performing the epic compositions of acclaimed composers Hans Zimmer and John Williams. Attendees can look forward to hearing music from popular film franchises, including Zimmer’s Pirates Of The Caribbean and Williams’ beloved Star Wars and Harry Potter series. Tickets for this performance are also available through Ticketek, priced from S$120.
The MFO aims to provide an exhilarating experience for music lovers, blending the worlds of electronic dance music and cinematic scores. These concerts are expected to attract fans from various backgrounds, eager to enjoy the orchestral renditions of their favorite tracks.
As anticipation builds for these back-to-back performances, attendees are encouraged to secure their tickets early to ensure their participation in this unique celebration of music.
