Release of ‘Sahakutumbaanaam’ Delayed Again, New Date Set
The release of the much-anticipated family drama ‘Sahakutumbaanaam’, directed by Uday Sharma and featuring actors Raam Kiran and Megha Akash, has been postponed once again. Originally slated for December 12, 2023, the film was first pushed to December 19 to accommodate the release of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda 2’. Now, the filmmakers have announced a new release date in January 2024.
Initially, the production team at HNG Cinemas expressed respect for Balakrishna‘s film, stating, “We felt only pride and respect” in delaying their own release. They emphasized the emotional connection cinema fosters, declaring, “Some decisions are not business… they are emotion.” The announcement aimed to celebrate both films, encouraging audiences to enjoy the festivities surrounding ‘Akhanda 2’ on December 12 and ‘Sahakutumbaanaam’ on December 19.
As the December 19 date approached, the makers faced unexpected challenges. With limited theatre availability, they decided to postpone the film once more. In a statement shared on their social media, HNG Cinemas said, “Due to unforeseen theatre-related issues, the release of ‘Sahakutumbaanaam’ has been postponed to January.” They highlighted their commitment to ensuring the film receives the proper distribution it deserves, thanking fans for their continued patience and support.
The statement concluded with a promise: “A NEW RELEASE DATE will be announced very soon. WE PROMISE THE WAIT WILL BE WORTH IT.” As excitement builds for ‘Sahakutumbaanaam’, audiences are left eagerly anticipating the new year for this family drama’s debut.
