Pradhana Vizha Celebrates 21 Years of Indian Entertainment Excellence
The 21st edition of the Pradhana Vizha awards will take place on February 7, 2026, recognising achievements in Singapore’s Indian entertainment sector. The ceremony will be hosted at The Theatre at Mediacorp, featuring the theme “Dare To Dream.” This theme highlights the industry’s growth and the future possibilities for its artists and creators.
The awards will celebrate excellence in various categories related to television, audio, and digital content. A total of 19 awards will be presented, including prestigious titles such as best actor, best actress, and best drama series. Categories will also spotlight digital innovation, with awards for best digital short form content, acknowledging the evolving landscape of storytelling.
The event will be hosted by a lineup of prominent figures, including Udaya Soundari, Jaya Ganesh, Karthikeyan Somasundaram, and Ravi G., a well-known audio personality from Mediacorp Oli 968. Anticipation surrounds the red carpet segment, which will be broadcast live from 18:30 to 19:30, leading into the main awards ceremony scheduled from 21:00 to 23:30.
Fans will have the opportunity to engage with the event by voting for the most popular male and female celebrity awards. Voting is open from January 23 to February 7 at the official website, mediacorp.sg/pradhanavizha.
For those unable to attend in person, the ceremony will be available for viewing on various platforms, including mewatch, Mediacorp Entertainment on YouTube, and Vasantham. This accessibility ensures that audiences can enjoy the celebration of talent and creativity in Singapore’s vibrant Indian entertainment scene.
