NCT Dream Treats Fans to Dinner After Singapore Concerts
Following their energetic performances in Singapore, K-pop group NCT Dream surprised fans by treating them to dinner at Haidilao. The boy band, which consists of seven members, held two concerts at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on October 18 and 19, 2023, as part of their Dream Show 4: Dream The Future world tour.
On the evening of October 19, after wrapping up their second concert, members Haechan, Jaemin, and Renjun were spotted at the Haidilao restaurant located in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Videos shared on social media show the trio exiting a private dining room and interacting with fans, who were pleasantly surprised by their presence. As they greeted diners, the members held up long receipts, which elicited cheers from onlookers.
The excitement escalated when a staff member at Haidilao announced that the band had generously covered the bills for all customers dining that evening. This unexpected gesture caused a wave of disbelief and joy among patrons, leading to applause and cheers filling the restaurant.
Haidilao confirmed the band’s kind act on their official Instagram account, stating, “When the idols realised that all the customers were their fans, they generously paid for everyone’s meals. We were honoured to host them.” This heartfelt interaction highlights the strong bond between NCT Dream and their dedicated fanbase, known as NCTzens.
NCT Dream’s concerts in Singapore were part of a larger world tour that showcases their evolving music and dynamic performances. The group’s dedication to their fans extends beyond music, as evidenced by this memorable dinner surprise. Fans took to social media to express their gratitude and share their experiences of the night, further solidifying the group’s reputation for engaging with their supporters.
This unique incident reflects the growing trend of K-pop artists participating in fan-oriented events, enhancing their connection with audiences worldwide. NCT Dream’s thoughtful gesture at Haidilao not only delighted fans but also exemplified the spirit of community that K-pop fosters.
As the group continues their tour, fans eagerly anticipate future interactions and performances, hoping to experience more of the generosity and warmth showcased during their time in Singapore.
