Heidi Klum Unveils Stunning Medusa Costume for 2025 Halloween
Heidi Klum captivated fans with her elaborate Halloween costume for 2025, transforming into the mythical creature Medusa. Klum, known for her extravagant Halloween celebrations, showcased her unique style at her annual party held at the Hard Rock Hotel New York.
Embracing the Greek myth, Klum adorned herself with green scales and decorated her head with live snakes. She expressed her admiration for the Medusa story, where a goddess turns a beautiful woman into a monster, complete with serpents for hair that petrify anyone who gazes upon her. Klum remarked, “So I wanted to be really, really like a really ugly, ugly Medusa. And I feel like we nailed it — to the teeth,” highlighting her commitment to the character by pointing to the fangs in her mouth.
Her husband, musician Tom Kaulitz, complemented her look by dressing as a man turned to stone, further enhancing the theme of their Halloween ensemble. Klum dedicated approximately 10 hours to prepare for the costume, a testament to her passion for the holiday. She has a history of memorable costumes, having previously appeared as an 8-foot-tall Transformer, a werewolf from Michael Jackson’s iconic “Thriller” music video, and even a multiarmed version of the Hindu goddess Kali.
Klum’s Halloween creativity gained widespread attention in 2022 when she arrived at her party on a fishing line, encased in a worm costume. Each year, she begins planning her costume immediately after her Halloween festivities conclude, ensuring her outfits remain a highlight of the season.
Celebrity Guests Add Glamour to the Event
The Halloween celebration attracted numerous celebrities, enhancing its festive atmosphere. Among the attendees was Darren Criss, who arrived painted green, embodying the character Shrek. Model Maye Musk made a striking appearance as Cruella de Vil, while Ariana Madix dazzled as Lady Gaga.
Adding to the excitement, last year, Klum and Janelle Monae made headlines when they showed up to their respective parties in matching costumes as E.T. Monae hosted her own Halloween event on the same day, dressing as the Cat in the Hat. The singer-songwriter transformed the entire month into a series of immersive Halloween experiences across the Los Angeles area, culminating in a grand party at her home in Studio City.
Monae shared her thoughts on the holiday, stating, “Halloween gives context to what I already do every day. As an artist, I’m always transforming, world-building and inviting people to play in the worlds I create.” Her perspective resonates with many, as Halloween continues to serve as a platform for creativity and self-expression.
As the Halloween season approaches, Klum’s elaborate costumes and celebrations set the standard for festive creativity, ensuring her place as a prominent figure in the annual festivities.
