Bhagyashri Borse Revealed as Bharathi in Akhil Akkineni’s ‘Lenin’
The first look of actress Bhagyashri Borse in the highly anticipated film ‘Lenin’ has been unveiled. Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, the film stars Akhil Akkineni alongside Borse, who portrays the character Bharathi. The announcement was made on January 2, 2024, by the production company Sithara Entertainments, which is co-produced by actor Nagarjuna.
In a post shared on their social media channels, the producers teased fans with the tagline, “Introducing the love of Lenin, Bharathi,” and revealed that the first single from the film would be released on January 5, 2024. The accompanying poster showcased Borse in an intriguing light, signaling her pivotal role in the narrative. The film is set for a summer release in 2026, which has already generated significant excitement among fans and film enthusiasts.
Initially, actress Sree Leela was slated to take on the female lead opposite Akhil Akkineni. However, due to scheduling conflicts, she stepped aside, allowing Borse to step into the role. The production team had previously released a teaser video on Akhil Akkineni’s birthday in 2023, which featured dramatic visuals reminiscent of the epic battle scenes from the Mahabharata. The teaser concluded with an impactful voice-over that reflected on the themes of life and legacy, culminating with the title ‘Lenin’ appearing on screen.
The film’s tagline, “No war is more violent than love,” hints at a complex narrative that intertwines action and emotion. The cinematography will be handled by Naveen Kumar, while the music score is composed by Thaman. The editing will be done by Navin Nooli.
As anticipation builds for ‘Lenin’, fans are eager to see how Borse’s portrayal of Bharathi will contribute to the film’s overarching storyline. The production team’s commitment to high-quality filmmaking is evident, and the project promises to deliver a captivating cinematic experience.
