Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo Enjoy Universal Studios Before Premiere
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo took a break from their hectic schedules, enjoying a night at Universal Studios Singapore on November 12, 2023, just before the premiere of their highly anticipated film, Wicked: For Good. The actresses shared their playful adventure at the theme park with fans through Instagram Stories, showcasing their excitement ahead of the film’s Asia-Pacific premiere.
In a delightful clip featured in Grande’s Stories, the actress, who portrays Glinda, had a close encounter with an animatronic baby dinosaur in The Lost World zone. Capturing the moment, she humorously captioned the video “crying,” only to be startled as the dinosaur emitted a sound, causing her to nearly stumble back in surprise.
Erivo, who plays the iconic character Elphaba, also contributed to the fun. She shared moments of her experience, including a friendly encounter with Bumblebee from the Transformers franchise in the Sci-Fi City zone and a playful skip around Minion Land. The camaraderie between the two stars was evident as they embraced the playful atmosphere of the park.
Grande expressed her gratitude towards the theme park, thanking them for their “warmest welcome.” She also shared a snap with the film’s director, Jon M Chu, further highlighting the collaborative spirit of the production team.
The excitement continues as Grande and Erivo prepare for the movie’s Asia-Pacific premiere on the evening of November 13, 2023. They will walk the yellow carpet alongside co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum, as well as Chu, creating a star-studded event that fans are eagerly anticipating.
Prior to the premiere, the cast will participate in an exclusive fan event at The Weave within Resorts World Sentosa, marking Singapore as the fourth stop on the five-city global premiere tour for Wicked.
