One Universal Production Group (OUP) officially inaugurated its new corporate headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on December 20, 2025. This event marks a pivotal moment for the company, which has established itself as a leading intellectual property (IP) ecosystem and tourism entity across Asia. The opening underscores OUP’s commitment to developing world-class entertainment and educational experiences, positioning it at the forefront of the region’s IP-driven entertainment landscape.

Over the last decade, OUP has earned a reputation for delivering groundbreaking productions and immersive experiences. The company has been acknowledged by prestigious organizations, including the Guinness World Records and the ASEAN Book of Records, for its remarkable achievements. OUP is particularly noted for its successful thematic attractions and live shows, such as Ultraman Live 2015, which garnered impressive attendance figures, and the longest-running Pokémon Festival. Other notable accomplishments include the world’s largest inflatable duck installation and award-winning family experiences like Discover Fun with CoComelon.

OUP operates as a master licensee and strategic partner to a variety of globally recognized IP owners. The company manages a diverse portfolio that includes popular brands such as CoComelon, Ultraman, Bruce Lee, Blippi, Angry Birds, Crayola, and B.Duck. These brands are integrated into a range of immersive attractions, live experiences, and retail activations designed specifically for Asian audiences.

New Partnerships and Future Developments

During the opening ceremony, OUP signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kayou Cultural Creativity Co., Ltd., which is recognized as China’s largest collectible card company. This partnership will enable Kayou to enter the Malaysian market, introducing new IP-driven collectible products and entertainment concepts aimed at fans across Southeast Asia.

In addition to this partnership, OUP unveiled its international development roadmap. This includes the Hadi Excellence Collection, which features thematic safari villas in the United Arab Emirates, and the Hadi Premium Collection in Malaysia, which will showcase the country’s first sea-front crystal-clear lagoon villas.

Commenting on the significance of the new headquarters, Alvin Lee, CEO of One Universal Production Group, emphasized that this milestone represents a new chapter for OUP. He stated that the new corporate building will further enhance the company’s ability to deliver world-class, IP-led experiences on a global scale.

With its strategic initiatives and innovative partnerships, OUP is set to continue playing a vital role in the evolution of the entertainment and tourism sectors across Asia and beyond.
