Global Chinese Youth Innovate at Wenzhou Entrepreneurship Forum

The 2025 Forum on Overseas Chinese Innovation & Entrepreneurship took place in Wenzhou, China, from July 22 to 24, 2025. This significant conference, known as the China (Zhejiang) Overseas Chinese New Generation Innovation & Entrepreneurship Conference (COCIEC), gathered elite representatives from the global Chinese community, alongside talented professionals and experts in science and technology from 52 countries and regions.
The primary goal of the conference was to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and networking among young Chinese professionals worldwide. It served as a dynamic platform for participants to strengthen their ties within the global Chinese community, promote the development of new productive forces, and encourage young Chinese abroad to engage actively in China’s modernization efforts.
During the opening ceremony, the results of the China (Zhejiang) Overseas Chinese New Generation Innovation & Entrepreneurship Conference Project Selection Competition were announced. Additionally, innovative entrepreneurship case studies from Chinese youth were presented, showcasing their contributions to various industries. The event also marked the launch of the New Generation Global Chinese Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative, aimed at further supporting these young innovators.
Engagement and Collaboration at the Forum
Throughout the forum, attendees participated in a variety of activities, including cultural forums, roundtable discussions, and promotional sessions.
