Singapore Prepares for Blackpink’s Concert with Exciting Events
Fans of K-pop sensation Blackpink are set to converge on Singapore for a highly anticipated three-night performance at the National Stadium from November 28 to 30, 2023. In the lead-up to the concerts, a series of engaging activities and installations are being launched across the city, designed to enhance the experience for fans, known as Blinks.
One of the main attractions is the “In Your Area” experience zones, which opened earlier this month near the National Stadium. These interactive photo zones, inspired by Blackpink’s iconic music videos, are available until November 30 and provide fans with opportunities to capture memorable moments. Additionally, a striking light installation near the Stadium Riverside Walk Fountain offers another perfect backdrop for selfies.
Merchandise enthusiasts will find a temporary store at Kallang Leisure Park from November 25 to 30. The Deadline pop-up shop features a variety of themed items, including T-shirts, hats, and hoodies. For every purchase of S$80 or more, customers can receive a collectible photocard of a Blackpink member, with four different designs to collect.
As excitement builds for the concerts, fans can revisit some of Blackpink’s greatest hits at the renowned Gardens by the Bay. On the evenings of November 26 and 27, the Supertree Grove will host a vibrant light and music show at 20:00. This showcase will feature dazzling displays synchronized to songs like “Kill This Love” and “Forever Young,” lasting for approximately 20 minutes. On these nights, all Supertrees will glow in pink, creating an enchanting atmosphere for attendees.
From November 27 to 30, the iconic Singapore Flyer will also be illuminated in pink, adding to the festive ambiance. Fans arriving at Changi Airport can look forward to Blackpink-themed activations on the Skytrain and throughout all terminals, ensuring that the excitement begins as soon as they land.
Blackpink, consisting of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa, is making history as the first K-pop girl group to perform three consecutive nights at the National Stadium. With these events and installations, Singapore is rolling out the pink carpet for Blinks, making this concert experience truly unforgettable.
