Infobip Shift 2025 Connects Global Developers in Kuala Lumpur
Infobip Shift, one of Europe’s largest developer conferences, made its debut in Asia on November 7, 2025, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This event brought together over 1,000 developers, startups, and tech professionals from across Southeast Asia, marking a significant expansion as the conference ventured onto its third continent this year, following successful gatherings in Zadar and Miami.
Recognized for its role in fostering innovation and knowledge exchange, Infobip Shift aims to connect the global tech community with local talent. The Kuala Lumpur edition was held as part of the Cradle LIVE! Startup ASEAN Summit 2025, organized in collaboration with the Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s agency dedicated to early-stage startups. This partnership underlines a mutual commitment to enhancing the developer ecosystem in Malaysia.
Fostering Innovation and Collaboration
The conference featured prominent speakers from industry giants such as IBM, Atlassian, Amazon Web Services, LMArena, and Okta. Discussions revolved around crucial topics including the future of software development, enhancing user experience, and developing essential skills for emerging technologies. Attendees also explored practical strategies for balancing the opportunities and risks associated with artificial intelligence, providing valuable insights for navigating an increasingly AI-driven landscape.
“We are proud to partner with Infobip in bringing Shift to Kuala Lumpur for the first time. This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to strengthening Malaysia’s developer and startup ecosystem by creating opportunities for knowledge exchange, innovation, and regional collaboration,”
stated Norman Matthieu Vanhaecke, Group CEO of Cradle. He emphasized that this platform not only connects global tech leaders with local talent but also accelerates Malaysia’s vision of becoming a leading innovation hub in Southeast Asia.
Ivan Brezak Brkan, Developer Experience Director at Infobip, expressed enthusiasm about the conference’s impact: “Infobip Shift’s Asian edition represents a significant step in our mission to connect developers and foster innovation through knowledge and experience sharing. By expanding Infobip Shift to a third continent, we are creating a platform that empowers people to shape the future of technology together.”
A Platform for Future Development
The Kuala Lumpur event solidified Infobip Shift’s reputation as an essential gathering for developers eager to learn, network, and innovate. It not only highlighted the growing tech scene in Malaysia but also showcased the global nature of the developer community. With its focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing, the conference equips participants with the tools necessary to thrive in a technology-driven world.
