EcoFlow Launches Smart Home Energy Ecosystem in Australia
EcoFlow, a global leader in clean energy solutions, has officially entered the Australian home energy storage market as of October 29, 2025. This expansion was announced at All Energy 2025, the largest solar and renewable energy exhibition in the country. The launch signifies a significant step in EcoFlow’s global growth strategy and aims to introduce innovative, sustainable energy management to Australian households.
The company is already recognized as the top provider of portable power stations in Australia. With this new initiative, EcoFlow intends to bring its reputation for innovation, reliability, and customer trust to the residential energy storage sector. This move will allow homeowners to access smarter and more efficient energy systems, benefiting both installers and end-users.
New AI-Powered Home Energy Ecosystem
At the All Energy event, EcoFlow unveiled its all-in-one AI-powered Home Energy Ecosystem (HEMS). The system integrates solar energy generation, storage, and management into a single platform, making it easier for households to maximize their solar power usage. According to Craig Bilboe, EcoFlow’s Country Manager for Australia & New Zealand, “Australia leads the world in solar adoption, and EcoFlow is here to help take the next step – turning that solar into smart, connected energy management.”
The HEMS features AI-driven forecasting and real-time insights, allowing the system to learn individual household energy usage patterns. This capability optimizes energy consumption automatically, reducing reliance on the grid and helping families save on energy bills. The system combines the PowerOcean solar battery with several connected devices, including the PowerPulse 2 EV Charger and PowerHeat Air-to-Water Heat Pump, creating a comprehensive home energy solution.
Strategic Partnerships and Enhanced Interoperability
EcoFlow has also announced new partnerships with retailers such as Lamm Coastal and Sold Solar Services, as well as distributors like Energy Spurt. Collaborations with solution providers such as OpenSolar and Village Energy are expected to strengthen EcoFlow’s local presence and installer network throughout Australia.
The Home Energy Ecosystem is designed to work seamlessly with popular smart home platforms, including Google Nest and tado°. This interoperability allows for a unified home energy experience, integrating heating, cooling, electric vehicle charging, and solar power management into one intelligent network. The system also supports dynamic tariffs, enabling users to take advantage of flexible pricing from major Australian energy providers like Origin and AGL.
EcoFlow’s ecosystem has already proven effective in tens of thousands of homes across Europe, designed for durability and safety. With a robust IP65-rated build and advanced lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology, the system can withstand Australian conditions. It also boasts a 15-year warranty and features a modular, plug-and-play design that facilitates installations up to 50% faster than traditional systems.
EcoFlow’s commitment to Australia is long-term, with plans to collaborate closely with local partners and distributors to ensure intelligent home energy solutions are accessible nationwide. The Home Energy Ecosystem will be available across Australia later this year, with further details accessible through the EcoFlow Australia website.
For those interested in exploring the system firsthand, EcoFlow invites visitors to their stand E113 at the All Energy Australia exhibition on October 29 and 30 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. This expansion marks a pivotal moment for EcoFlow as it seeks to redefine energy consumption in one of the world’s most solar-active nations.
