Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty Star in New Series “Do You Wanna Partner”

Prime Video has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming series, “Do You Wanna Partner,” featuring prominent actresses Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty. Set to premiere on September 12, 2023, the show explores the lives of two best friends who embark on an entrepreneurial journey to launch their own craft beer brand.
The trailer introduces viewers to the characters Shikha, played by Tamannaah Bhatia, and Anahita, portrayed by Diana Penty. Both characters embody the spirit of resilience and ambition as they navigate the challenges of starting a new business. In her statement about the series, Tamannaah described “Do You Wanna Partner” as “one of the most layered, emotionally complex yet fun shows” she has been part of. She emphasized that the series celebrates female friendships and the spirit of sisterhood without framing it as a women-versus-men narrative.
The actress highlighted the importance of the show’s message: “It’s a story that celebrates friendship, hustle, and the courage to turn the craziest ideas into reality.” Tamannaah expressed her excitement about returning to Prime Video and her eagerness for audiences worldwide to join the adventure.
Her co-star, Diana Penty, echoed similar sentiments about the series. She noted that the authentic chemistry between the two female leads is rarely depicted with such depth on screen. Diana remarked, “The show doesn’t just explore the entrepreneurial journey; it also beautifully captures the magic of collaboration and female friendship, making it deeply relatable.”
She elaborated on her role as Anahita, a character who stands by her best friend while pursuing her dreams, describing the experience as both exciting and empowering. “This series is truly a labour of love, brought to life by a wonderful cast and crew,” Diana stated, expressing her anticipation for audiences to experience a narrative that celebrates both business partnerships and enduring friendships.
The series is directed by Collin D’Cunha and Kumar, featuring a talented ensemble cast that includes Jaaved Jaaferi, Nakuul Mehta, Shweta Tiwari, Neeraj Kabi, Sufi Motiwala, and Rannvijay Singha.
As the release date approaches, excitement builds for “Do You Wanna Partner,” a series that promises to deliver both humor and heart, celebrating the unbreakable bonds of friendship and the challenges of entrepreneurship.
